ethical sales policy of any gunmaker in the world.

I was not aware that ethics applied to making guns. I guess the author has trouble distinguishing ARMS DEALERS from manufacturers. If not H & K needs some serious help.

Two million huh? Someone's been watching Die Hard on loop.

HK can sell to whomever they want, but in the end they are only hurting themselves. If ANYONE in the middle east deserves to be sold guns, it's Israel. The ONLY true successful democracy in the whole stinkin' place.

And here I thought HK products were solid, dependable firearms marked up by virtue of nameplate and sold and serviced by pricks.

Now I know they're sold by pricks. In a way I should be thanking them, as now I have one less brand to drool over in the case.

I wonder about their motivation. I doubt they really believe there will be less violence due to this policy.

I’d be interested to hear someone who believes a baker, photographer, etc. should have the right to refuse service to a gay weddding explain why this is “wrong”. Just a reminder, I believe baker, etc. should be able to refuse such service,

Wrong? Nope. Not my monkeys, not my circus. Any company should have the right to refuse to do business with whoever they want for whatever reason they want.

"Wrong-headed"? I believe so. I believe they are pandering to libtards and that this is a foolish mistake. That said, I support their right to make the mistake.

I'm good with it as long they follow their criteria and stop sales to the California government entries. See corruption and democracy standards.

Actually the decision looks racist to me.

But will the activists get on this issue?

Not shocking to anyone paying attention. Israel is betting on ISIS over Hezbollah. Not exactly a popular move.

So, you're not going to sell your product where the demand I'd highest, instead of you'll focus on replacing that volume where demand is the weakest. They must have some really awesome salespeople.

I don't imagine there's much of a market for H&K in Israel, they're doing just fine with their homegrown stuff.

Churchill was challenged one day in the Commons to provide the total cost of The British Empire's actions in the Great War.

He replied "I will do so and report back tomorrow."

Later that day his staff came to him in a panic and said "Sir, we estimate it will take a team of 15 men approximately seven years to compile that information. There is no way we can give it tomorrow."

Churchill looked at his staff and replied "The Great War cost The British Empire £125,351,251 three shillings, seven pence."

His chief of staff looked at him aghast and said "You made that up!"

Churchill replied "Yes, but it will take the opposition a team of 15 men working approximately seven years to prove me wrong."

That is where the Guardian got that 2 million number.

Now H&K hates everyone who really needs a gun.
