I own many Milwaukee M18 power tools and M18 batteries.I use these tools for home use.

I have one 12amp Milwaukee battery that apparently suffers from a common battery failure that strikes the Milwaukee batteries.Its a internal failure of the battery management system built into the battery. The battery management senses a low cell or cells in the pack and prevents the battery from achieving a full charge. The 12amp battery seems to suffer more than others, sad because its a $250 battery.
From what I read the Dewalt batteries in there 20v line have a much better battery management system that does not seem to suffer from this problem.
I see Milwaukee to Dewalt battery adapters to use a Dewalt 20v battery on a Milwaukee M18 tool.
Has anybody had experience with these adapters?

After experiencing this problem I will no longer buy Milwaukee M18 tools/batteries.
