Big Grin

This guy's about halfway to don't-give-a-shit.

He asks this gal for a light before it all goes sideways. Too funny

Oh, and this is from last year.

I mean he only told them like 20 times to leave before finally pulling out the cuffs. But of course they didn't do anything wrong.

You can find scores of videos of people getting arrested because of their own obstinance. I posted this one because of the arresting officer and his Marlboro.

I can't recall the last time I saw video of a police officer smoking on the job.

Nearly all agencies have banned smoking in agency vehicles.

Many have banned smoking in uniform.

Our policy is no smoking in uniform. That includes side work when wearing the uniform. I don’t think we have anyone that smokes anymore.

In his defense...he never did get that light he tried to bum at the beginning of the video. So, technically, he wasn’t “smoking”.

We went to that ~12 years ago. Overnight, nearly all the smokers took up dipping.

Not quite as stinky/damaging, but we still ended up some some vehicles and offices with dip spit stains.

My office that I inherited many years ago had a huge dip spit stain on the carpet. The previous occupant liked to spit his juice into a 2 liter bottle that he kept next to the desk. Apparently, one day he rushed out of the office for one reason or another, knocking over the nearly full bottle in the process, and proceeded to spill nearly 2 liters of used tobacco juice all over the carpet under the desk.

The stain was still there when I moved in, and remained for several years until new carpet was put in back in 2013ish. Blech.

Yeah, he got a light from the couple that walked up behind them right after the officer starts repeating "You're all out of here" and right as the filming lady launched into her "See how they treat our kids?" monologue.

You can see the exchange and the light in the background as the manager approached the camera at ~5:10ish. The lady in the black jacket holds out a lighter as she's opening the door to the theater, and the officer scoots in for a quick light before re-approaching the camera-wielder and instructing her to leave.

We have one guy that uses dip. He was instructed not to do it in vehicles.

I think movie theaters are allowed to ask you to leave but they have to refund your tickets??

I wish there was more video of him still smoking as she’s put into a car.

We had one officer who would smoke cigars, another who always had a pipe in his mouth.

Our guys would often light up after a fire, always thought it was odd to come out of a smoke filled environment, take your mask off, and watch your partner light a cigarette.
