Always a fun day. Complete debaucherous shit show downtown New Orleans. Some of the best people watching on planet.

I have a specific walking route I take each year. Park in the Bywater and walk into the Quarter. Specific beverage stops along the way. Beer and a shot at one of my favorite LEO bars.. Boondock Saint then proceed back the same way. Yes 365 and spare mags in pocket

Enjoy the Groove!!!

I think the French Quarter stinks of urine and vomit.

BTW how do you tell the difference between Mardi Gras and the freak show the world has become?

I always enjoyed sailing into Norco...just above NOLA and visiting the city. In fact, sailing up (and down) the Mississippi was always a treat for me. Took me back to my early thoughts about Huck and Tom.

Had a last minute vacation to Gulfport. Didn't realize Mardi Gras was going on till I got there. Unfortunately, we didn't partake in the festivities.

Last time attended Mardi Gras was 1968 and have not been back since eventhough downtown New Orleans is about 1 1/2hr drive depending on traffic.....(agravated dumb asses) especially on the elevated sections of the highway over stretches of watery swampy area....Present time you would have to pay me a large amount of money to go anywhere in the New Orleans areas.... Go out of my way to avoid the Veterans Hospital visits for either myself or wifes appointments by using outsoursed civilian doctors.............. drill sgt.

Did you see the big girl with them out? She had them Tattooed... numbered! Not 1 and 2, looked like 13 on one and 14 on the other best I could tell.

Got to be a story behind that, and what are/where are 1 - 12?

Having a great time enjoying the festivities at the eastern end of the parade routes. We won't get to the Quarter until later in the week when it is less insane. It is much more family friendly out this way than Canal St and the Quarter.

My understanding of gun and knife laws is they are prohibited at parades and in bars?
