BB61Liner for an original GI helmet - suggestions?
I’ve got a surplus helmet circa sometime between WW 2 and Vietnam. I have just the helmet and would like an accurate liner so it’s complete. Google shows a bazillion choices. Anyone have a suggestion as to quality liner. Reproduction or original.
Thanks!

oldfireguyI've bought mostly parts for rebuilding helmets and liners but he is one of the best short of stumbling across one.

When I was a kid surplus stores had tons of WW II and later Korean War GI stuff which I acquired in my quest to be a little militarist. I haven't seen actual surplus in such stores since then.
But eBay, yes. Will probably be a Pakistani reproduction or very, very expensive. I just bought a genuine 1943 bayonet and scabbard for my M1, and a reproduction ammo belt.
