The Gestapo tactics continue...

OAN Newsroom
UPDATED 8:56 AM PT – Tuesday, November 23, 2021

An FBI SWAT unit raids the suburban home of a Colorado mom and her three home-schooled children Sheronna Bishop was home-schooling her sons last week when the FBI and Mesa County investigators broke down her front door with a battering ram and handcuffed her with no explanation.

Bishop believes the raid came about because she has been vocal against her school board and she uses her website americasmom.net to educate and inform parents regarding their children’s education.

“According to this illegitimate regime that’s running this country, people like me are considered domestic terrorist now because we advocate for our own children, we stand up for them and we don’t allow the state or the system to abuse them,” Bishop stated.

The raid comes as Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland have weaponized the Department of Justice and the FBI to look for parents to prosecute nationwide in the name of domestic terrorism.

Other raids, including one on Tina Peters (Mesa County Clerk & Recorder that's auditing the 2020 election results) were conducted.

And then released? What did FBI do? Why SWAT? This just seems ridiculous now. Can she sue? Seems like we're one step close to getting the band back together? One step closer to the last straw?

Why SWAT? It's the militarization of the police and other agencies.

The SWAT teams really don't have anything to do for perhaps 99.99% of the time, so they start doing things like this.

I've said for years that militarizing them was a huge mistake.

I've been in the Army and it's just like Gunny Highway said in Heartbreak Ridge.

"When you start looking like Marines, you'll start acting like Marines."

I found that to be true in the Army as well. You have a bunch of cops getting high and tight haircuts, wearing BDUs and other military gear and they start acting like military and no longer believe they're actually civilians except by fairly recent changes to the definition of civilian.

The problem is that the ROE is very different for military and police...or at least it's supposed to be. The reality is the police and other agencies' SWAT teams have gone well beyond what's acceptable in the military and they get away with it time after time.

^^^^ Great - a video with no written summary. The search function can't find any details if such aren't provided (in lazy posts).

The manner in which these raids were conducted reeks of political intimidation. The new FBI is the modern day Progressive KKK.

Wait, what do you mean by recent changes to the definition of civilian???? Cops are civilians, except for MP's, Shore patrol, and a few other exceptions.

The traditional definition has always been, If you don't have a Geneva Convention ID card, then you too are a civilian. I don't think that's changed, has it?

Ideally she would have video of all this. Could be used in court, and to show the world what our corrupt FBI has been doing.

These days everyone should have security cameras, one never knows when criminals of any type my arrive.

The thread and thread title were initially focused on the PV raid, and clearly reflect that topic. What part of "FBI raids Project Veritas journalists' homes" don't you understand?

As additional FBI raids later took place and were posted in the thread I expanded the thread title to include these additional raids, within the character and clarity limitations of thread titles.

Lazy members who can't be bothered to search basic forum search terms such as "FBI raids", which the thread is the first one listed when using that search term, or even bothering to check page 2 of the Lounge, won't find the thread... but most other members didn't have any problems finding or posting in it.

The cops got it changed according to my Highway Patrol neighbor who also says he's not a civilian and I keep telling him he is. Even the firemen got included in it. Lot of wannabees out there aren't there?

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/civilian

Definition of civilian (Entry 1 of 2)
1: a specialist in Roman or modern civil law
2a: one not on active duty in the armed services or not on a police or firefighting force

Always did hate using "civilian" for non law enforcement, preferring "citizen".

Just because merriam-webster says it does not make it so. The etymology of the word can't be changed.

As for your neighbor, so, is he subject to military law? No you say, but I though he wasn't a civilian.

Me thinks your neighbor was never in the .mil Smile

What is thread about? An FBI raid or the definition of a civilian?

The article doesn't really give much information. Oh well, at least I know I am a civilian.

Don’t compare the FBI BS w/ their SWAT call outs to other agency call outs. They obvious don’t use a TARE sheet. I am sure there are a lot here that know what that is. Basically a point sheet to see if the warrant or what ever even merits the use of a SWAT team. I don’t know how this has anything to do w/ the supposed “militarization “ of the police.

It doesn't have anything to do with the 'militarization' of the police. It has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that the 'Just-us' Dept & the FBI have 'weaponized' by the left, and are being deployed against anyone on the right that's outspoken and/or opposed to the tyranny of the self-appointed masters currently in charge! Mad

Meh. You are absolutely correct, but we can’t let a good crisis go to waste. Doncha know buzz cut haircuts lead to cops playing army.
