If you got the latest Covid shot, a question.

sigfreundIf you got the latest Covid shot, a question.
This is for anyone who has received the most recent COVID-19 vaccination.
If you got the shot, what was your reaction to it?
I ask because I got mine along with the flu shot at the same time a couple of days ago and the only reaction was very slight arm soreness that is typical of the flu vaccination. I was thinking back to the first Covid rounds that sometimes had people laid up for days. Those sorts of reactions seem to be long behind us for most people, but I’m curious whether that’s true.
(Please note that I post this just to ask this specific question, not to get into a discussion of any other issues relating to vaccinations in general or COVID-19 in particular—and specifically not whether anyone should get the shot. There is another thread where all that can be addressed. Thank you.)

ArtieSI have not had mine. I got the initial Pfizer shot back during the pandemic, and had a mild reaction to it. Soreness and a bit tired for a day or so.
Having had covid twice (both times before the vaccine) and then the vaccine plus a booster my Dr. advised me not to get any more.
I will be seeing him for an annual check up next month, and will see what he says about the latest round.

MNSIGI’ve never had more than a sore arm, including the initial dose in 2021.

bertoIt was my first time getting Moderna and I had a sore arm and was down for the count for the weekend with body aches. Had headaches for a week after. That new and not fun. I think I’m going back to Pfizer.

maxwayneI am also Moderna and got the flu and Covid at the same time. Maybe a bit of soreness in my arm, but I was back in the gym the next day.

blueyeHad the Pfizer shots back when covid was going on and got another late last year. Did not experience anything, asked the dr. if I was injected with saline solution by mistake.

sjtillHas anyone had the NovaVax COVID vaccine?
Our clinic offers it.
Unlike Pfizer and Moderna, it’s not an mRNA vaccine.

Oscars fatherI’ve only ever received the Pfizer brand.
Sick as hell for 2 or 3 days every time. Horrible fever & chills.

Mars_AttacksI got the first one as required by my work, it completely destroyed my hearing and none since. There's nothing they can do for the jet engine screaming in my ears.

P-220I received the flu and covid shots last October. I did have a reaction, which included chills, the shakes and a slightly elevated temp.
I had similar reactions with previous covid shots, but not all of them.
Don't ask about the 2 shingles shots. It was brutal.

SigFanSigfreund, my experience mirrored yours. I received Fluarix Trivalent for flu and Comirnaty for covid booster on same day, in same arm. My arm was a little sore at the injection site for a day or two, but no other reaction symptoms.

clayflingythingyI have never had a reaction to a COVID shot. I've had all three: Moderna, Pfizer, and Novavax this time.
