I don't like to go because she can't hear. I have enough trouble with my wife who can't hear. Its gotten to the point where I just don't repeat myself, I need to do it multiple times. So sometimes I just don't talk to her. Not to be mean but just to avoid the aggravation. So we drive up and my mother is already outside. I try to go where she is and out comes a bossy nurse like woman to tell me I can't go there.

I must go to the other side of a wall of plants. Its not 6' social distancing, its more like 10'. At least. So here we are, my wife and I 10' away trying to talk. And up pulls a delivery truck. A rattly noisy diesel. If he hadn't shut it off I'd have gone over and done it myself. And a line of cars coming by, too. These people have no sense at all.

But it only lasted 15 minutes until another inmate got to see their family up close. I appreciate their concern, but they're stupid.

And not necessarily in that order...
