Arron Burr comes to mind. He thought he was greater than Washington as well. And he was just another anti-American traitor. About the same as obummer.

Give them a break.
They probably don't know much about history and think George Washington was a Baseball player or something.

No, I'm not going to hang that on their parents. I'm about as conservative as they come, and I've done my best to raise my son (now 20), yet college has warped his views significantly. The fix is in on this one, and our children are being subverted almost every second they're out of our control by a government entity (I include all levels of education in that description) hellbent on flushing this country down the drain.

Saul Alinsky.

For those who believe in the whole heaven/hell God/devil thing, I honestly believe that Alinsky was Satan incarnate. The damage that that one man did to everything from the Church to educating our young, is/was devastating.

He was rotten to the core and the effect he had will last for generations.

New Poll Shows Millennials Think America ‘Racist’ And Obama More Important Than George Washington

The Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (FLAG) released its first annual State of American Patriotism report Tuesday, revealing a dearth of patriotism among “younger Americans.” The survey pegged that age group as under 38, including Gen Z and millennials.

The poll was conducted by YouGov and in a news release FLAG says it “starkly reveals that younger Americans … are becoming unmoored from the institutions, knowledge and spirit traditionally associated with American patriotism.”

The poll reveals a generation that is embarrassed by its flag as “a sign of intolerance and hatred,” view their country as “racist” and think former President Barack Obama was more important to American history than the nation’s founder, George Washington.

(RELATED: Nearly One In Five Millennials Consider Joseph Stalin Kim Jong Un ‘Heroes’)

The survey confirms findings from other studies that reveal leftist preferences among millennials, with almost one-third of them identifying as socialists and many showing a pronounced affinity for hard-line liberal politicians like California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters.

The poll revealed what FLAG founder Nick Adams called an “epidemic of anti-Americanism.” Fully 50 percent define America as “sexist,” with 49 percent calling it “racist” and 46 percent saying it is “more racist than other countries.”

Of the total respondents, 46 percent could not agree with the statement, “America is the greatest country in the world,” and 38 percent cannot concur that “America has a history that we should be proud of.”

Fourteen percent say that “America was never a great country, and it never will be.”

Some younger Americans aren’t proud of their flag, with 19 percent believing it is “a sign of intolerance and hatred,” while 44 percent believe former President Barack Obama produced a “bigger impact” on American history than the man traditionally called “the father of his country,” George Washington.

Adams says he was “totally unprepared” for results like these, revealing in a website statement:

We suspected that we would find decreasing numbers of Americans well-versed in our nation’s most important principles and young people less patriotic than the generations that came before, but we were totally unprepared for what our national survey reveals: an epidemic of anti-Americanism.

Adams blames a school system that has “indoctrinated” students. “That half of millennials and Gen Z believe that the country in which they live is both ‘racist’ and ‘sexist’ shows that we have a major fraction of an entire generation that has been indoctrinated by teachers starting in grade school that America is what’s wrong with the world.”

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Actually, seems to be the fault of the last 2-3 generations. Which destroyed our public schools and turned them into indoctrination centers.

I am reminded of the info bit a while back in which interviews with these "millenials" revealed the amazing fact that the USA fought against France in WW2.

I'll back up bigdeal.
My son, too, was fine until he went to MIT.
That place is really good at turning good kids into brainwashed, godless heathens.
Both of my daughters went to colleges that were non-denominational but encouraged and fostered a relationship with God. Both daughters managed to keep their faith through involvement in the Newman centers on campus. Both daughters came out of college more grounded, balanced, and not brainwashed by leftism.

Yes.

I just had a discussion with my 32 yo this weekend and she "thanked me" for our home schooling her and her younger sister.

She has three children who are public schooled, but she is "all up in their business".

She spends time "discussing" the BS that they are being taught and asks them to think and question (and they do). She has had several "face to face" with the teachers over some of the "questions" the kids have brought up in class discussions.

Ironically, she "looks" like a Millennial, and lives in Medford Oregon, but is finding more and more that she "does not compute nor comport" with the silliness of them.

It is not difficult for parents to be involved with the education, and they well should be.

I still am "fathering", and both of my girls want that.

For those who simply "let them out and back in" every day should have had dogs.

Sadly, I know too many people that have no contact with their children and prefer it.

I have a sort of respect for those on (the other side) who are dedicated to their cause, even though it is mis-guided and full of un-truth.

I do not have such for those who have not done all they know/knew, or are/were equipped to do,
