I can tell you that our school has had a clear boost in enrollment last year and this year as a result of the public schools' policies. Enrolling parents have said as much.

We've seen like a 13ish percent uptick in enrollment in the last two years, which is pretty significant because changing demographics and finances have actually had our enrollments on the downswing in the last 6 or so years.

In fact, we're still enrolling kids for 2021-22 in what is usually a relatively low late enrollment period.

To put that in context, we're just one independent school in an area that's filled with independent schools. So if we're getting the boost, I'm guessing our competitors are too. And we also have some incredibly good and very, very well funded public schools in this area, which indicates even further that these enrollment increases are 'vid related.

We home schooled in the 1990's / early 2000's, both kids went to college. It was not until they got to college did they get the nonsense indoctrination at that time. Far worse today and starting in 1st grade.

Yes, get involved in the local school board meetings and even become a board member if that makes sense - this is could be the firewall between your children being feed utter nonsense or getting a productive education to advance in life.

If you read some of the white papers the nea has had presented during their confabs going back into the late 1970's, most sensible people would have not had their kids in the public schools. Alot of off the wall lib-babble...including that parents should turn their kids over to the education establishment when they're 3 years old - parents teach kids bad biases....

In Michigan as I suspect other states, the schools receive money based on headcount 3 weeks into a school year, and again for another count later.

If you home school, you'll pay school taxes, but if they're not in the headcount, then this sends a message to the district.
