Sometimes things line up just right I know it’s God reminding me that it’s all part of His plan.
Sure there are just some random coincidences out there that are arguably meaningless. Like you go on vacation and meet some new folks and you happened to go to the same High School or something.
But sometimes the stars just align on numerous things and I smile because I know it is God trying to tell me something or just His little reminder saying He’s got this.

A couple days ago I was just scrolling through the YouTube and came across a clip of the Beastie Boys. It was one of their first TV appearances or something. I had not thought or listened to the Beastie Boys in years. Said to myself later tonight when I have to take a little drive with no little ears in the car I’ll pop on the Beastie Boys.
Time came to meet the family at swim practice so I jumped in the truck and headed to the Y, turned on the Beastie Boys and was immediately taken back to when I was first introduced to the Beastie Boys. I was in 6th grade Frito Lay sponsored some raffle at the school cafeteria you bought some Frito Lay chips and you got an entry to the raffle. So I put my ticket in and Friday they picked some winners for a few prizes.
My name was drawn and I won the Beastie Boys - Paul’s Boutique CD. That’s right Frito Lay thought it was a good idea to give 6th Graders a Beastie Boys album. I don’t ever recall hearing the Beastie Boys but I could not wait for school to be over and get on the bus because I knew my Kenwood CD player and oversized Sony headphones were in my backpack. We were the last folks to be picked up in the morning which was great as I could sleep later but that meant we were also the last to get dropped off. So like 45 minutes or so on the bus plus 10 minute walk home from the bus stop was pretty much able to finish the album.
I remember it well I was enamored with this Beastie Boy sound that I had really never heard anything like.
Anyway, back to current time swim practice was over all the boys wanted to ride home with Mama so I listened to some more Beastie Boys and well if I had been in a wreck and someone watched my dashcam they would be laughing at my sing along.

Back home In a great mood after enjoying a blast from the past, kids all showered up and they are off to bed. I am very much looking forward to starting my new book I have literally been waiting 4 years to read. I Need Truth by Andrew Schwab (autobiography for the Lead singer of Project 86). I have waited 4 years because they started crowd funding their final album 4 years ago. Project is one of my favorites so I bought in with the package that included the T shirt, sweatshirt, CD, and if enough people preordered he would write an autobiography. Well that book was finally finished, published, printed, and delivered last week.
However I was finishing up The Way of the Wilderness Warrior so this book just sat on my nightstand for a few days.
I start reading my new book and what is the book opened with? Andrew Schwab talking about how hearing the Beastie Boys for the first time years and years ago and they were what made him know that he wanted to start a band and how much musical influence the Beastie Boys had on him.

As I was reading this opening chapter I was just set back at how God was reminding me that he has a plan for us and it’s all just part of the plan.
How else does one explain

I stumble upon a random Beastie Boy video.
I had not listened to the Beastie Boys for years!
I listen to them for awhile that night
I am taken back to My first memory of the Beastie Boys that is forever engrained in my brain.
I get home excited to read a book I have literally been waiting 4 years to read about one of my favorite bands only to have it open about how the Beastie Boys are a huge reason why Andrew Schwab wanted to start a band.

And just for good measure how about a little Beastie Boys and Project 86 sampling!!
