h2oysNeed Advice on How to Sell Some Collectible Bottles of Scotch/Etc.
Hi All,
My father had collected some bottles back in the 80's. My sister and I decided against opening any of them because after checking the value at Wine Searcher, and knowing we would not appreciate them, now want to sell them.
Thanks to one of my prior SigForum posts we learned about Wine Searcher so values we can find but going about selling them is a different matter. I created a separate gallery in PostImages and the link to see them below:
https://postimg.cc/gallery/3jjmec422/There are 50 pictures of the bottles, the boxes, some of the original receipts, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TXJIMMaybe reach out to this group in your city, they are a local Scotch drinkers club. They may be able to provide some suggestions as well as some ready customers.
https://www.scotchstl.com/Here is an article about buying and selling on the secondary market.

h2oysTy kiraly10.
My father is deceased and those accounts are long closed. Unless you think that still poses a problem?

holdemTry the website WineBerzerkers. It is mostly geared towards wine, but there are lots Scotch drinkers on there, so worst case, they should be able to point you in the right direction.
At least in the wine world, there are lots of people that will sell collections to auction houses and retailers. You'll take a little bit of a lower price, but they will buy the whole lot, send shipping labels, deposit the money directly in your account, etc. Those types of places make it WAY easier than trying to sell each bottle yourself. I have done it one time and it was super easy.
