I’m a big believer in Samaritan’s Purse.
The Salvation Army will never see another dime from me after they started worshiping at the George Floyd alter.

You might consider your local animal shelter or humane society.

I give to two breed specific rescues, the two that I give to squeeze every penny. Echo Dogs (WGSD) and MADS (Malinios and Dutch Shepards)

www.clprm.org is a Christian recovery ministry that I've been a member of since 2017. It was started by a guy who was a 20 year addict, went to prison, accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior in prison and started this ministry around 2004.

Any local animal shelter would like to have a few hours and/or dollars. If there a several in your area, your vet will know who is doing a good job, if you do not want to go find out for yourself.

On a national level the Gary Sinise Foundation and Samaritan's Purse come to mind.

Local charities that I can see up close, are all I consider.
