I think you're a little late for shopping for what to wear for Burns supper. It's not going to be there in time.
I was somewhat active in clan (not klan) stuff so I've one fine wool one in clan tartan and a couple not so fine. Not so active any more so not worn so much any more either. . Though now that you remind me I was supposed to get an invite to this year's supper and wasn't. I need to go be indignant at someone.
I have three. One is an 8 yarder that I got for the pipe band I'm a member of. Another is a 5 yard PV kilt from USA kilts and the last is a utilikilt.
I wear them quasi-reguarly in the warmer weather. It's a great conversation starter. Especially in bars.
For those looking I highly recommend USA Kilts. They're based in PA, make everything in house (Except the tartan material which comes from Scotland or England). Their great to work with and have excellent prices.

I’m Scottish, Irish, and English. I don’t own any. I have never worn one. I don’t want to get beat up in this little redneck town.

I attend my "Clan gathering" every three years in Ireland. Many people wear the Irish national kilt to the banquet that is held at the end of the gathering.I have admired the outfit but as this is the only place I would wear it the cost has left me without one so far.

I lived in Alaska when the 5.11 kilt came out. Thought of buying one, but decided against it as it's winter 9 months a year and mosquito season the other 3 months of the year.

But I DID visit a famous kilt store in Edinburgh and the young girl in the store said I should try one on as, "You have a good kilt bum for an old guy". A quote my wife and I often joke about.
Saw Sir Sean Connery's photo on the wall there as a customer too.
