At the time Rick Scott was term limited out so it would be a race between two new candidates.

Governor DeSantis and Gillum were mostly unknown in the state. Gillum was the mayor of Tallahassee and Governor DeSantis was a United States congressman for the 6th district.

I think at the time Florida had a lot of independent voters.

Ron is very smart and better at deflecting fake news and media hit jobs with facts than anyone else I've seen, including Trump. I really hope he gets the nomination and debates Biden or whomever the democrats try to run. He will destroy them by pointing out their lies with actual data. Biden will get flustered and angry and say even stupider things.

According to Ron, his administration poured over the actual COVID research that wasn't cherry picked BS used by the CDC and made rational decisions about how to manage Florida's COVID response.

Given that children have almost zero mortality from COVID, any infections are mild, and the data shows that children in school are not "spreaders", there is no benefit from the vaccines.

He also made the right decisions about lockdowns and masks. The data from Florida compared to lockdown and mask crazy states shows he was right, despite the media's constant lies trying to claim NY good, Florida bad.

Anyone bother asking the media if NY is so good and FL so bad, why are people fleeing NY for FL and not the other way around?
