f2What goes into your tuna salad sandwich?
canned wild caught salmon and avocado oil mayo (chosen foods or primal kitchen). tuna has too much mercury for me.

flashguyI'm pretty basic because I don't have much to work with (no veggies in the fridge).
Canned tuna in water, drained.
3 midget sweet Gherkins, hand chopped
Enough Miracle Whip to make it spreadable
Black pepper
Whole wheat bread, toasted
I don't like mayonnaise, never have. MW it is.

wildheartedson0105Albacore tuna
Dukes mayo
Yellowbird blue agave sriracha
Mrs Dash onion and herb seasoning
Have to let it rest for a bit, so the Mrs Dash re-hydrates.
Otherwise, it's like sand in the sammich.
Definitely have to try some boiled egg. That sounds great!

rsboloAll these recipes sound good to me. I like some variation in my tuna salad.
I do consistently use real mayo and I absolutely use celery seed or celery salt (if I don't have the seeds) every time.
I like to toast whatever bread I'm using to make my sammich.

SSgt USMC/VetCan tuna in water with Mayo (Dukes) and relish.
I like to eat tuna on white toast with lettuce and slice of tomato w/salt and pepper.
As a younger man I would eat a lot of Tuna Melts not sure why I don't anymore.

architectSolid white Albacore, packed in oil (preferably EVOO, but never water), drain most of the oil before using
Mayo (Hellmann's or Duke's, definitely not Miracle Whip!), just enough to bind the ingredients
Finely chopped white onion, scallion also works, couple of tablespoons
Wickles relish, maybe a teaspoon and a half
lettuce
on toasted sourdough.
If you like more mayo, like my wife does, put it on the bread, not in the tuna salad.
