SIG 229 DA/SA grip mod

Anyone here modded a set of DA/SA SIG 229 grips into SAO grips? Now the 229 is SAO before I buy and murder some.
Yes I have a 229 SAO Legion with SAO grips.

No such animal only Legion grips, SIG never made the older 229's in SAO.
I wanted a set of factory SIG 229 grips the regular plastic nice thin grips to wear on the gun. I have a Dremel and loads of time but those old grips seem to be premium now.

I found an old post on sig talk maybe by a member here, he suggested using DAK grips DAK grips rear as rocking horse poo or $130 on eBay how much "vintage" 229 sa/da grips $50-100 come on
