Years ago, when I lived in the Midwest, nearly every lock & key shop had a card of leather key folders on the counter in various colors, for ~$4 each. I've since lived in AZ, FL, and now San Diego, but I've never seen another one, and mine are about worn out. After a long web search, I finally found one, and only one, offering:

https://www.amazon.com/Leather...Makers/dp/B00UBFACH0

No color choice, but the color is fine. But $35? Inflation bites! I bought a couple though.

Back in the 1960's a Chevy dealer in Oklahoma City gave one of the leather ones to you when you bought a car from them. I can't think of any reason that those should cost $35. There's maybe $2 worth of leather and a buck or so in Chicago Screws in it for material.

BTW – If you buy one of these, I recommend purple Loctite for the screws.

My father's '65 Falcon had it's keys in a small leather folder.

I still have one remaining from the "distant past". It was given out by the Lincoln-Mercury(remember those) dealer. It is nearly worn out, and I know I can't replace it!!

I had a bunch (my grandpa used to work at MacDonald Motor Co. - that was engraved into the leather). I’ve no idea where they went. I’ll look around..
