I actually deleted the genetics part of my post, put it back, deleted and finally decided to leave it. I was not sure how I felt on it being genetics. But I see these people in stores using EBT and they are clearly genetically deficient in the area of intelligence. That being said you are correct, there are plenty of people that could make a living doing manual labor regardless of smarts. In any case, genetics or environment, these people are passing on their issues.
