Runoff good, now all three counties involved need to coalesce around the Female Republican, period.
Reject the Democrats glorious vision of a mid term take back of the house.

We have a lot of work to do and we need four years with the house and Senate to do it!!

Get to work Georgia 6th voters and we all should send money to her campaign.

Handel has a lot of work to do to win the runoff. She needs to convince all those Republican voters who voted for other candidates to turn out for her. with Ossof at 48.1%, she doesn't have much of a margin of error. Advantage: Ossof

Let's hope the Georgia 6th district does the right thing and turns out big for the GOP!

It's all very frustrating until you start understanding what a democrat is really saying when they speak.

180 degrees.

If they say up, it's down. If they say it's wet, it's dry. If they make an accusation, they're projecting their guilt of doing the same.

Every. Single. Time.

Says the guy who just raised and spent 18X what his nearest competitor raised?
... and she probably mostly locally?

These guys have no sense of shame. What they say doesn't apply to them. It is so hypocritical that it shows a complete lack of self-awareness. They live in an alternate universe.

Weren't they the ones expecting to win because they only needed 50%?

Yeah, the local radio station takes the ABC News national radio feed and they were spinning hard this morning.

I called it last night before it was over:

I live in the district, I've met Karen personally and supported her campaign, and I just made a donation to it. I think she can pull this off, but it won't be easy. The Democrats smelled blood and were excited; they had a sizeable lead in early voting as a result. The Republican candidates received a higher percentage of the vote on election day to send it to a runoff. Hopefully Republicans and conservatives will now realize this is serious and will show up to vote in larger numbers in the runoff.

Unfortunately, the guy has about $5 million in the bank for the runoff, and will probably raise that much more before June 20th. Karen should have support from the NRC and the Republican congressional campaign committee to offset part of that, but she'll probably still be outspent by at least 3 or 4 to 1 for the runoff.

"no amount of dark money will help Republicans....
"
...

Lemme break it down for you.

Republicans (typically) get votes because people who vote for them, or (also, typically) decent, hard working, accountable, responsible and have integrity. So, "dark money" does not move that much if at all, and therein lies the truth.

Now, what is obvious by not being said is the contrast than the only way the Democrats (typically) get votes is by deciet, unethical efforts, lack of accountability, distraction and all of that is always furthered by "dark money".

And the old saw, "it takes one to know one".

The statement is projection.

Now, that he has been short stroked, time for the good people to push hard to make sure he does not R-U-N-N-O-F-T with the seat in the runoff.

It is not advantage Ossoff. The fact that he couldn't win it to begin with is bad news for Ossoff.

A lot of (R) people didn't pay close attention and just assumed that the Democrat didn't have much chance to win and may not have voted.

There is a lot more publicity now and the Republican field is now focused on just one. Not a great candidate but better than theirs.
Unlike Ossoff, she is eligible to vote for herself. I don't understand how someone can be ineligible to vote and still run of office.

The Democrat party is rumored to have realized that he had to win in the primary and couldn't win in a runoff and won't be sending the big money here for that one. They were hoping for a surprise upset, now they will settle for a claimed moral victory.

Not really. 40% turnout, obviously most of it Republican.

Everybody knew this was a big deal. The district is red, but it is not as red as the Dems are making it out to be.
