I can’t keep my eyes off this motorcycle!!!! Cripes!!!
So I’m leaving the gym today and parked besides my truck is this bike. Damn!!! This thing looks good. I have never been a Yamahopper fan but, this one is cool. I know the guy the rides it. He has good tastes. He also has a beautiful blue Yamaha FJ1300 touring/crotch rocket cross. With or without bags that thing is sharp too.

I brought home a new 2022 Tracer GT the last day of March. If you don’t want to spend the money, do not..I repeat. DO NOT!! Ride one. This is my first Yamaha. It is quickly becoming my mostest favorite-est bike ever.

I always liked the Yamaha FJ because it seemed to be a nicer balance between sport and tourer. This bike seems to carry on that theme.

You'll never regret buying a motorcycle.
Here's my latest impulse buy. I'm riding it 1625 miles to Evansville, IN this week and will probably have 4K miles more on it by the time I bring her back home.

Interesting that he has both an FJR 1300 and the FJ-09 / Tracer 900. While Yamaha markets them in the same class I guess they are different enough to him to justify having both. I have not ridden an FJR but I had an FJ-09 and while smitten by the CP3 motor I just didn't care for the rest of the motorcycle and sold it. I currently have 2 Yamahas so I'm certainly not against the brand.
No car is as much fun to drive, as any motorcycle is to ride.

Looks like a nice do-all bike. I have an 07 FJR and love everything about it except for the weight when it needs to be muscled around. I still try to ride it like my previous bike, a 2000 ZX-7R, which is hard on the tires as well as the rider from throwing it around through twisties. I’ve considered a lighter, more nimble sport tourer as they tend to be and easier to tool around in curves, traffic, and on less than paved surfaces.

I’m an old guy. Generally speaking I prefer curves over angles.

I don't think anyone who's a true rider regrets getting a bike, even if they crash it. I'd rather take that risk than not have the experience and thrill of riding.

I dunno, I think most people can justify why they own the particular motorcycle(s) they have. Although I'm not sure why I have one of mine. This message has been edited. Last edited by: ridewv,

I do miss having a bike in the garage. The Midget is just a different kind of fun. That Tracer looks like a blast.

I have it's predecessor, a 2015 FJ-09. Wonderful, wonderful do it all machine.
