I think the AR is either illegal of not in states, nor whether it’s a pistol or rifle.

Asking for a friend, if a braced pistol was SBR'd during the no tax amnesty can it legally have a stock versus a brace? The paper work from the ATF exists that shows it is an SBR. Has there been any ruling by the courts, not the ATF, that has been passed down? I registered four. Until someone challenges it in court (I don’t know why anyone would), the ATF says it’s an SBR. All four have had stocks on them since about three months after I filed the paperwork. If the ATF tries to say those are null and void (I don’t know why they would), then there’s going to be another massive lawsuit that they’ll lose. At this point, I don’t see the ATF under Trump trying to pull that. If you registered an amnesty SBR, and the ATF approved your Form 1 to make an SBR, and you have a tax stamp for an SBR, if you put a stock on it, it’s not an SBR, it’s a duck. ______________________________________________ "If the truth shall kill them, let them die.” Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.
