All the new trucks I have bought, I worried until the 1st dent showed up, then it didn't matter anymore. I find small dents now from just the employee parking lot. Like the others said, used new truck, just enjoy it, less stress.

(This is when I put them there, not someone else.)

I have a dent/hole in my front bumper that happens to be the size of a pickup truck trailer hitch ball. It has been there since 2010. Although I could easily fix it - I even had the bumper off for some other work - it doesn't compromise reliability or safety, so I haven't bothered.

Thanks everyone. It’s starting to grow on me. I’m not as worried about it. I think I’m definitely a truck man for life now.

You bought a used truck with over 100,000 miles and six years old and didn't go over it very well before you laid down your dollars so now you're discovering little things you missed on your initial inspection. I think you should have done a better job inspecting the truck before you bought it and then you would have noticed the imperfections you're noticing now. Very easy to do and I've learned the hard way to conduct a careful inspection of anything I buy new or used. When I bought my 2010 Tundra new I didn't notice a small dent in the roof until I looked at the truck from my bathroom window. I also missed a horrific scratch on a Colt 1911 I bought used, didn't notice the scratch until I got home so we're all guilty. Enjoy your new truck and don't sweat the small stuff.

You couldn’t be more right. I know better. But, here I am.

I know these small imperfections just give it character and I’m learning quickly to just roll with it. I’ve never had such a nice vehicle.
