Ive got a milwuakee m18 set. Edger, hedge trimmer, weed whacker, blower. Very happy with it but it is not as powerful as my old sthil stuff. That being said it gets the job done and i prefer not having to deal with fuel, smelling like 2 stroke, or waking up the neighborhood.

We use a Kobalt 16” string trimmer and an electric blower. Both last about 1 hr on the battery charge.
They are lightweight which helps keeping my back issues at bay.
1 hr is about my max amount of time I want to spend before needing a break anyway. Then the charge-up only takes 30 min.
Love it.

Today I ended up buying the Ryobi cordless electric chainsaw and was very impressed. It came with the smaller battery but since they are interchangeable I used the large battery from my mower. I had a lot to cut and several were very thick big branches. It chewed through them with ease. With as many batteries as I have now, I would be able to do a long cutting project if I had to.

I used a 56v Ego blower to blow off 4,000 sq foot of pavers. It was quiet, lighter than my hitachi blower by a good bit, battery always lasted with plenty of juice leftover, and it was 90% as powerful as the gas. For a normal house in a city, electric is the way to go these days. No more storing stinky gas in your garage and worrying about it going bad or maintenance on the power tools due to bad gas, spark plug etc. etc. You have to go with the higher voltage tools though. The 18-20v systems just don't cut it.

Exactly. Before I went and bought the chainsaw yesterday, I tried to get my gas saw to start. I drained the fuel and mixed a fresh batch of two-stroke fuel. Sucks because my weed Wacker was 50:1 and chainsaw is 40:1 so two containers. I about killed myself trying to get it to start with no luck. Got the electric saw and got started in seconds.
