Just watching the news on my last day of reserve here in Providence. A story came on the news about the massive turnout at the statehouse for a hearing on a number of gun control measures. I just kind of rolled my eyes and figured it was going to be ugly with antis. Turns out THOUSANDS of gun owners showed up and massively outnumbered the antis. Color me shocked and pleased here in New England. Of course, no telling what the lawmakers will do. Aaaaand...the next story was about a bill to have to pay $20 to the state if you want to watch porn on the internet. What the hell are you supposed to do? That's like 80% of the internet, right? That seems to be main reason most of the gov't exists these days, as far as they are concerned. They seem more than willing to let you do whatever you want, as long as they get their cut first.
