I am admittedly old-fashioned and believe certain long proven scientific FACTS. Things such as if you have XY chromosomes you are in fact, male. Period, end of discussion. If you are XX you are female. Period, end of discussion. Whether or not you have the factory original genitalia, how you dress, or what make believe story you have intentional or delusional) doe not matter. You are what you are.

Same goes for race/ethnicity. You got what you got when your unique DNA was created after your parents merged theirs.

So here is what puzzles me, and really should in and of itself collapse the whole house of cards on the “Identity” movement. Why is it acceptable and courageous to “self identify” and claim to be someone other than what you are when it comes to one biological characteristic and having cosmetic surgery to alter your appearance yet deceitful, shameful, and a lie to “self identify” for a different biological characterization and altering your appearance to comport with that decision?

Case in point…

White woman caught lying about her race resigns as equity and inclusion officer

” Raquel Evita Saraswati, an equity and inclusion officer hired by a social justice organization based in Philadelphia, confirmed to Fox News Digital that she resigned Tuesday after her family came forward and said she was lying about her ethnicity.
Saraswati, who is White and of British, German, and Italian descent, falsely claimed to be Arab, Latina, and South Asian. Saraswati did, however, convert to Islam.

After Saraswati's mom came forward with the claims, an anonymous letter began among staff and supporters at The American Friends Service Committee that called for Saraswati to step down over the lies.

"Despite years of publicly and privately identifying herself as a person of color, evidence has emerged that contradicts her claims and confirms that her heritage is white/European, specifically German on the maternal side and Italian on the paternal side," the letter stated. ”

What am I missing? How can all of these supposedly educated people, especially those in the medical profession not call out the double standards?

Why is proclaiming alternative truth for gender brave, proud, and courageous yet proclaiming an alternative truth for race/ethnicity cause public shaming, doxing, and ridicule?

Both situations, whether intentionally contrived or the result of some mental deficiency, are essentially the same - so why such different responses in society?

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

Your trying to analyze the situation with rational thought and logic. Don't bother, these things don't apply in the world of identity poltics.

On the serious side, I don't know of anybody who has these delusions of sexual identity. I'd be grateful if anybody here could advise me how you address a person who wants to be called they/them. If you want their attention, do you just call out 'Hey, them over there!'

Really?

Simple answer: These principles are false. So they don’t make sense and the rules are inconsistent. Judge Judy once said,”If it doesn’t make sense, it is a lie”

Part of their program is that nobody is allowed to question anyone who claims a diversity heritage, or for that matter gender, sexual identity, etc, doing so is grounds to get you expelled from the collective so in these cases, the lefts rules for the groups protected by their agenda keeps them from saying anything about what is claimed. You can't even check it, because that would be racist, bigoted, forbidden.

The way to be removed is, as in this case, you piss someone off with your lies, someone who has hard core proof of your lies, and that person(s) cannot be harmed by the leftist collective for outing the theft the heritage they claim...

These are people educated beyond their intelligence, they lack morality and consider themselves above all others.

Blue collar folks (you and me for the most part), work, take on responsibility and honor commitment. We keep our word, answer to a higher authority and understand that the Sun does not rise and fall on us.

These elitists think they can get away with anything.

IMO, the reason for this is that there is no consequence for them.

Bring back punishment for this and it dries up quickly.

Somewhere on Sigforum is the following meme:

Dr: "Sir, I've got bad news."
Patient: "It's ma'am!"
Dr: "Ma'am, you've got testicular cancer."

You know, I hear the media and many others crying about the "mental health crisis" going on in the country. Yet we not only allow mental health issues to go untreated, we f*cking encourage people with serious mental health issues to go on like they're completely normal.

If I were to "identify" as a king and demand that my pronouns be "sire, your majesty, my king" I'd be locked away. Yet if I identify as a female it's perfectly OK.

When people say "I identify as" I just substitute the phrase "I'm pretending to be..."

Nah, if it looks like a guy, say “hey dude.” If a gal, use “hey honey.” Keep it simple.

I wish I could help, but I’m lost too.

Apart from Sigforum, I spent most of my time in the 19th century. Things were much easier to understand back then.

In fact, whether he rally said it or not, Abraham Lincoln seemed to have a good handle on the transgender movement when he is credited as saying:

“How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg? Four. Saying that a tail is a leg doesn't make it a leg.”

Neighbors daughter has deemed herself non binary apparently. We aren't particularly close with our neighbors but will share casual conversation if we are both outside. So the neighbors wife is outside yesterday and she started to chat and I asked how her daughter was doing using her name I've always known her by. Oh you mean Grey she said. I said what? She says her given name is dead her new name is Grey she does not identify as male or female.

I said oh so she's been to the courthouse filled out the paperwork to have her name legally changed then? Amended her birth certificate? She says no but...So I responded she needs to do that, make it real! Live it! otherwise she's just play pretending! Sorry but I'm not participating. End of conversation.
