That is kind of my thought. But we do get all cranked up over sex sometimes.
A for sure take-a-away is that we can be on camera almost anywhere. For most of us it generally doesn't matter, but if you are prominent, you can't afford to forget it.

We sure do, controversy and sex sells, the historical image of R sometimes leads to the implication that they don't have sex outside of procreation, stodgy, and D can run nude through a gay parade with a dildo on their head and it's ok...

Most certainly, I am. When you say you needed Donald Trump to confirm for you that women like to be touched...

The groping is not an issue for me. Vaping is. It smells and I am allergic to it. Since when did it become acceptable to smoke in an indoor movie theatre?

Sometime in the 17th Century, I imagine.

nhracecraftDo we even know what she was vaping? No obviously not, but I guarantee it wasn't THC oil, because if it was the 'media' would not stop talking about exactly that! For the record, cigarette smoke smells and I'm allergic to that too, but I wasn't there so I'm not offended by it.
Regardless, apparently it's not acceptable, and it's a violation of the against the Denver Arts Complex rules to smoke OR vape in the theater, so she was shown the door, at least in part due to this behavior. Actually per the Denver Arts Complex website regarding patron responsibilities, guests are to 'consume alcoholic beverages responsibly' and 'only smoke, including e-cigarettes and vapes, in designated areas'. Fun fact, also per their website, two drinking establishments at the Arts Complex [Prelude + Post, and Under the Glass Top] are open during performances and list the following:
Pro Tip: Grab drinks at [either establishment] and bring them right to your seats [in any of the theaters/halls at the complex].
Of course you must drink and/or partake responsibly though...
Apparently Lauren Boebert and her date were having a little too much fun for some. Unfortunately, much of the reaction to this 'gross misconduct' seems unnecessary/over the top and honestly a bit ridiculous!

Mr. Frisch had a booth at last year's State Fair. He wasn't personally there, but my wife and I spent a few minutes talking to his staff. We walked away impressed. Didn't agree with them on everything. I couldn't bring myself to vote for him knowing how DC works. Democrats at orientation are told if you vote the way we want you'll be showered with money and opportunity. If you don't we'll cut you off at the knees and make sure you're a one-termer. I can't actively contribute to that coalition. I can see him winning next year even if Boebert wasn't committing unforced errors.
Rumor has it Frisch intends to run again, and Boebert may be primaried too. We'll see.

https://currently.att.yahoo.co...arned-133400208.htmlLauren Boebert says she’s learned her lesson from “Beetlejuice” scandal: Never date a Democrat
Embattled Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert returned to Washington on Monday from a whirlwind week in Colorado and was immediately greeted at the airport by TMZ cameras.
"I'm here to provide levity," Boebert told the paparazzi with a smile. "It was a great time to go out and have dinner and enjoy part of a show."
The far-right lawmaker was initially caught in a lie when she denied that her booting from a Denver showing of "Beetlejuice: The Musical" was related to her behavior. Footage then showed Boebert obstructing patrons' view by raising her hands, taking pictures with the flash on and loudly singing. The lawmaker flipped the ushers off before finally leaving the venue. "Do you know who I am?" she was quoted as saying.

sseI still haven't bothered to figure out what vaping actually is, but I didn't suspect it was comparable to smoking cigarettes.

When I was younger, they all had smoking sections. I sometimes used to go with my mother and I did not like it; we sat in the smoking section because she smoked.
I don't remember exactly when smoking sections were removed, but it was a
long time ago.

It's not. It's a whiff of bubblegum or raspberry. People like to act like it's akin to someone blowing smoke in your face and it's not. Does it psychologically convey you have disregard for the people around you? Perhaps no more than smoking does. Does it psychologically convey you have disregard for the person whose face you blow it directly into? As a former smoker, I say it does, but people are going to feel how they want about it on a sliding scale of how readily they want to feel insulted.
I didn't see her blowing a vape cloud straight into anyone's face or the back of their head, as it were. But she let a guy grab her titty, so we might as well get pissed off that she blew a cloud of scented water vapor into the air.

Same with air travel...smoking was banned on Domestic flights of less than 2 hours in 1988. The law was extended to flights of less than 6 hours in 1990 and then to ALL domestic and international flights in 2000.
Guy for whom I flew bought a King Air 90 circa 2004. You could tell people had smoked in that plane for YEARS due to the nicotine build-up and brown staining on all the panels, placards, and switches. It took me days and days to scrub that crap off with a Q-tip and cleaner.

darthfusterI won’t make excuses for her but I can understand why she and her poorly selected date would think they could get frisky in the dark. I doubt any of the audience knew they were being IR recorded. I and a few young ladies during my misspent youth were guilty of the same thing. Difference is that we were not being watched and recorded. We got buzzed and lit up by a police helicopter while making out late at night on a jungle gym in the playground of an elementary school in Doraville, GA once and I was issued a few citations for steaming the windows with other girlfriends around Stone Mountain back in the day. So I get it. Sometimes the semi public aspect is part of the thrill.
While vaping in the dark might make a compromised individual think she safe from discovery, I don’t understand the disruptive and selfish behavior from a vulnerable politician. And the coup de grass is to assert the clout of public office? Sheesh. There had to be alcohol involved.

SPITTAKE!!!
RECORD SCRATCHING SOUND!!!!!
If meant sarcastically and comedically, chef's kiss sir.
But just to, ah-hem, "clear the air" for sse, vaping is the use of an electronic cigarette to vaporize and inhale as vapor a fluid that might contain any number of things (nicotine and THC being two popular possibilities but the list is almost endless). E-cig fell more or less out of favor to "vaping" as a verb.
And now I will totally use vaping to mean Richard's definition, whether meant intentionally or not, because it's comedic gold either way.

Fed161Lauren Bobert nearly lost her last election. She could easily lose the next time she runs. In fact, the latest poll results show her behind her likely dem opponent. You would think she would be more careful.
