She's a classic.
Or was.
Hard to tell what she cared for most.

egregoreI'm a little surprised her political career lasted as long as it did (nine terms, 1997-2015). I would have thought a single issue borne of personal tragedy would be a flimsy base to build on. But this is New York, so ...

400mShe didn’t know what a barrel shroud is. But she knew the lie that it is on the type of gun that most gangs and criminals were using to kill police officers. You don’t have to be accurate or truthful, you just need the sheep to believe and spread the lie.

casLove to know the real truth there. Yes what happened to her family and everyone on that train was horrible, but what happened after. Did she think “by golly I’m going to do something about this!” (Unlikely)
More likely, some vulture in the Democrat party said “Wonderful, we can create another Sara Brady, a puppet who”s strings we can pull while she pulls on the public’s heart strings”

newtoSig765I attended a dinner in Chicago in the mid-1980's for Sara and Jim Brady, along with a witness to the shooting. Sara was not at all impressive, just seemed to be pulled along for the ride by all the Democrat vultures who were running their lives by then.
Gun control advocates seem to be the worst of all Americans. I wouldn't have gone, I'm not impressed in the least by celebrities, but the witness's daughter was hot.
