For two nights, that it and now off again.
This 65 y.o. apt. Bldg. Needs a healthy dose of insulation.

I had two months over $115.00 in electric bills this summer.

My system is still set to a/c, and still comes on many times day and night. I would think that I had died and gone to Heaven with and electric bill of $115.00

Yes. Been in the high 20's overnight most of the last week, getting up into the mid-high 40's during days. Thermo set at 65. Haven't used the wood stove yet though.

Not yet. We are still only in the 80's in the day and 60's in the night. Wink

But seriously, I can't wait for what we call cold weather, 40's-50's. In a few years we are hoping to poss. get into TN., as we enjoy the beautiful scenery and changing of the leaves/foliage.

It will be a good while still here until heat is needed. Temperatures were finally a little cooler the last week, but today was back up to 90.

Yeah, that's a big negative. AC is still running.

Go ahead, rub it in.Smile We have a frost warning for tonight. I just took the dogs out & it's already down to 36F.

Seriously though, Fall is my favorite time of year.

Yes and no. The gas furnace has yet to run. The woodburner, however, has run three times now. When the temperature in the house is 60 or lower in the morning, I get an earful from the wifey until the temp hits 70.

It got down to 32 last night and the house was at 61.
It'd have been in the high 50's by morning, but I warmed it up a bit before crawling into bed.

I was not going to be cold any longer.

I wish I was still running the a/c like many of you!

First frost last night and it's cool outside for sure.
Furnace is running as I'm typing.
