Their food court has a brisket sandwich here in the Midwest. It's fantastic.

And yes, the dark chocolate covered mangos are addictive.

They want to put one up in my part of the world, just across the big river.

it would be nice not to have to drive80 minutes , one way, to get a verry berry sundae.

unfortunately, they want to put it in the most traffic congested intersection in three counties.
what a nightmare headache.

and, and! the one they are planning won't have
indoor parking !
well that sucks

Food courts? Chili? Brisket?

Where are these Costco's?

Both of our local ones have a walk-up counter with pizza, hot dogs and churros and that's about it. Frown

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

I just got back from Costco and I saw that they had Chili. It was lunch time and the line was long so I didn't get any.

Sorry Texas, it has beans. Big Grin

Don't forget their famous return policy. If you happen to try any of the items mentioned here and don't like them, you get your money back.

Adn yes, their T-shirts and dress shirts are worth the price fo the membership. Forgot about those.

And their Kirkland brand golf balls! (Never mind, they sell out so fast very few people have seen them). Easily comparable to ProV1s, at 75% less.

Also, rent your car through them and save about 25% over any other on-line quote, even with coupons. Recently did that on a trip to Phoenix. Same car was $300 v. $400, even though I am a member of all those programs at Alamo, Hertz, Budget, etc. Costco beat them all, and then sent me to Alamo for the exact same car, for much less.

Resurrecting this thread to brag about Costco’s eyeglass services. I ordered 2 pairs on Friday, lady said she would ask for ASAP service as I am leaving on a trip (to Israel) next week.
Today, Sunday, they called and said they’re ready. Price was excellent too.

I can get super unleaded gas .30 a gallon cheaper than the other places around me and their gas is top tier.

All of the Kirkland paper products are of excellent quality. TP, Kleenex, paper towels.

There is not much I don’t like about Costco. Prime briskets for less than choice at other places, big veggie platters for $8.something...
Salted caramel chocolates, yum!

Their brand of ground coffee is good too and I’m a coffee snob.

I go to Costco frequently to get gas and purchase stuff like leather work gloves, dog food, school snacks for my kids, eggs, etc. I have purchased tires there but I won't be doing that again. Two different times their tire installers have said that one of my tire pressure sending units was defective and that I needed to replace it. They probably broke them or there really wasn't a problem. I think it is just a way for them to boost profits because I have never had a problem when I go to an independent tire shop that I have used for the last thirty years.

Both my mother and mother-in-law purchased hearing aids at Costco about a year ago. My mother won't use them because they are too uncomfortable and the tech can't seem to get them adjusted. My mother-in-law can't use hers because they make an annoying squealing noise that the tech can't fix. She tried to have them fixed at an independent audiologist but they either wouldn't or couldn't fix them. She has given up on them and basically wasted $2,000.00.

Every time I find a product that is only available at Costco, the company discontinues it. FML.
