I don't shop in stores, my wife does. I know she goes to Costco at least twice a month, I'm guessing staples like paper goods, some food products. I should say that I do go once a year when we need pellets for the water softener, too heavy for her, she needs to work out more!
I have bought a TV and a computer from them, both on line. Both items were defective but Costco Concierge got me straightened out.

Kirkland brand spirits are very good, I'd bet the Kirkland IPA is good as well.
The meat department at costco has good quality, love the Australian Lamb Chops, salmon, the $5 pre cooked whole chickens are a steal.
Kirkland Foot long or regular hot dogs are good, I can't think of a Kirkland product I've bought and had to return...

I only buy the whole milk, but it always seems to stay fresh longer than grocery store milk to me.

I have to admit: I've never been in a CostCo.

No Aldi's in Oregon.
Different Costco's have regional products. As in Oregon does not sell hard spirits - yet. We do have good big eggs at the local one though.
Never had bad milk there.
Have purchased a tv & blu-ray player from them. Mostly since their return policy rocks.
Cheers~

Forgot to mention their olive oil. There was a recent study of olive oils that found many, many brands (including some prominent imported oils) were not pure olive oil, but blended with less expensive oils and branded as pure. One of the brands that passed the tests and came out a pure, virgin olive oil is Kirkland. It's all we buy now.

this is definitely true. Even within the same county, different costcos have different merchandise. In the more affluent neighborhoods, the stores have more selection of premium wines, diamonds, and other high-end products. The more effluent neighborhoods get the shittier selections.
"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." They got rid of Polish sausage a while back, maybe around the end of 2016? Hot dog is the only option now w/ the drink.
My favorite thing at Costco is probably the gas.
Not where I live. Both are still available.

Several years back visited a Costco in Edinburgh, Scotland. Looked pretty much like one here in the States. short of the Kirkland brand haggis and blood pudding.
We use CostCo almost exclusively for tires, dog and cat food and meats. I go through their cheese pizzas faster than I care to admit. Never been unhappy with any fresh meat, fish or vegetable purchase there.

We found their paper towels to be the best on the market.
Living in Arkansas, I really miss Costco.

Kirkland Toilet Paper and Paper Towels are always in my house. The Kirkland signature Wines are an absolute steal. I suspect most are big name relabeled. Never had any that disappointed for the price.

Try mixing in some of their canned chunked chicken breast. Yum.
