A few years ago someone on this forum suggested reading the trilogy by William R. Forstchen which is a fictional account of what would probably happen in a SHTF scenario.
I recently finished reading these fine books and all I can say is that it should be required reading for any adult who is remotely interested in what’s happening in the world these days and what could happen if we’re not prepared. Given the recent threads here on emergency comms, long term food preparation etc. I thought that this could be a good opportunity to share these books with my fellow SF members.

So what I am offering are all three paperback books in the trilogy that have been gently used. I’ll let the Karma run for a week or so and have the Karminator pick the winner.
Thanks for Sig Forum and our ability to have these discussions.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

I'd read them given the chance.

I am a voracious reader, and this is a great karma, very generous of you to offer it, but please do not enter me.

I just wanted to jump in here to mention that there are a bunch of you who would like to read these books and you can't all win the karma. My county Public Library, and very likely yours as well, has these titles available in e-book form to borrow and download to your Kindle Reader.

If you don't have a Kindle device, you can get the free Kindle app that will run on a Windows or Mac computer (maybe Linux too, I'm not sure about that), or an Android or Apple smartphone or tablet.
