I've gotten about 44,000 miles and 3.5 years on the set of Michelin LTX M/S2's I put on my 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee back in 2014. It's about time for a new set. I'm considering the same tires, but I've also recently ridden in an SUV with a set of Cooper Adventurer H/T tires and they were great. So those are the two current front runners. I'm looking for an all-season tire that leans toward comfort, quiet and good road handling rather than off-road performance. Any experience with these Coopers, or any other tires you'd recommend? I put a set of Falken Ziex STZ05 on my 2011 Grand Cherokee last fall. They have a great tread pattern, are low noise and have performed very well in snow and rain.

I got them from Discount Tire and other than the guy ordering a size larger than the stock size I asked for (should have been 265/50/20 and he ordered 275/55/20) and making my speedo 4 mph off, I've been very happy with them. I guess that is the biggest tire that fits on a GC without rubbing.

Bonus: the bigger tires were actually about $20 per tire cheaper and when I noticed that the tires on my Jeep didn't match the tires on my receipt I got a refund.

Michelin Defender LTX M/S for me. Avoid the Premiere LTX line - I only got 27k out of them.

I'm a big fan of Firestone Destination ATs. Not what you're looking for but might want to consider the LEs.

Bridgestone Duelers are also good for that vehicle if you can find them on sale.

I've been using Nokian tires on my past two vehicles and have been impressed with their performance. I put Nokian WRG3 suv tires on my mothers RAV4 earlier this year and she likes them better than the Cooper and Firestones she's had previously.

The Michelin’s you have are great, but recently switched to coopers and love them. Worked great this winter as well. I have the AT3s.

Consider Yokohama Geolander AT. Read reviews at Tire Rack.

Consider the Pirelli Scorpion. These have been on my AWD SUV for four years and I couldn't be happier.

Got mine from Tire Rack and had Meineke install them.

I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee and picked up a set of Michelin Defender LTX light truck tires for it about 40,000 miles ago. I have driven them in rain, Snow, ice you name it and they are great. Dry weather handling is crisp as well for the Jeep and they are wearing extremely slowly which I like. I will replace with another set and since Costco sells them, if you go that route you'll get a great price and good service during and after the sale with free rotations/balancing and cheap flat repairs.

I'm a big fan of the Coopers - Ran them on my wife's Grand Cherokee and now on my F150 - lasted very well on the GC and looking good on the F150

These tires are designed for similar but different purposes. The Premier is more performance oriented and will wear much faster, but handle a lot better. The Defender is going to give a little less good traction but wear much longer.

I've got the Premier on an ML and love them, but have always been willing to trade off life for performance.

gt2022... The Coopers you ran on the Grand Cherokee and now on your F150, were they the Adventurer H/T's? If so, besides lasting a long time, how did they handle on dry/wet/snowy roads? Thanks!

I can get the Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires installed at NTB for $975 which includes 3-year free alignment, 1-year road hazard repair/replace, and free balancing/rotation for the life of the tire.

Or, I can get the Cooper Adventurer H/T tires installed at Pep Boys for $638 with free rotations. That's a big difference in price.

The last time I got tires, NTB was not a fun experience. They quote tires, which is competitive and then charge you for all sorts of installation fees, I feel like they wanted to charge me for the air. I tooo their quote and left. I had the same tires installed at a local shop much cheaper. NTB was too much sales pressure for me but to each his own. Do you have Costco or sams club memepbership?

Have them installed on a 03 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 20k miles on them and they still look new.
