1. Gingers unite! I may be bald but the carpet still matches the once-present drapes.
My two girls (including jelly) and one boy are carrying on the soul-less ginger lifestyle.



2. They’re sweet and haven’t shown any feral instincts yet, but that hasn’t saved me from “playful collateral damage”. Most occurrences happen when I’m oblivious, either relaxing or sleeping. Have one on an ass cheek because apparently it slipped out of the blanket and needed attacking!



3. Now matter how tough they act, they are siblings and it’s cool to see them stick together. If one goes about 30 seconds without seeing the other, they start meowing and searching. They attack each other relentlessly but still can’t be separate for a minute.



4. Stereotypical human traits seem to apply. The boy is much more outgoing and “tough”. He’s the only one who will “fight” with Jelly. I put it in quotations because they are still small enough for Jelly to destroy. She caught an adult rabbit in the back yard today and had 1/3 of it down her gullet before I could get to her. She’s as dangerous as ever but she won’t hurt the kittens. She likes to play with them and invites them to play in a very dog manner. Jumping, rolling on her back, biting at them, but they don’t know how to play like her. They mostly just attack her tail and ears when I’m petting her. I DO think she’ll protect them as they age. Or perhaps there will be a time where two orange tabbies have to protect or help her? Who knows, but they are becoming close.



5. Fortunately I don’t have a photo for number 5. I’ve owned or raised cats in the past, 3-4 times between me and my wife’s family. Never have I had a problem litter box training. But this male will piss on anything that is 1/8” off the ground. My underwear while I’m showering, a plastic Walmart bag of the ground, my Tupperware, my duffel bag for work, the bathroom rug. He pisses anywhere and everywhere. I’ve had to be much more vigilant in keeping things off the ground. Granted, all the plastic bags are stored but they grab them from the storage spot and strow across the house. As I eliminate possible places for him to go, he gravitates more toward the litter box. Which I also need to upgrade to a larger more “private” model. They have a cat door to the basement which is where the litter box is, but if an opportunity presents itself he’ll piss anywhere.

The female is the exact opposite. I’ve never caught her going anywhere but the box.

Yeah, I would try a second litter box. There might be something about the one he doesn't like.

Both of them are fixed.

Some people do the "N+1" for litter boxes, when there are fights and "rebellion potty" incidents.

I feel your pain. I have 2 gingers, unrelated. We keep 4 litter boxes, all enclosed. Seems to work here.
