I pay for no ads. I watch You Tube on TV a few hours a day. Many of the topics are misleading but before you can determine that, you had to sit through a commercial. I takes a while to learn who the morons are that post bullshit. No ads lets you click back and get out of it in a few seconds.

I have gotten pretty good of identifying which assholes post under misleading titles, but I still miss a few and the premium service with no ads is a must for me.
