"Autumn Harvest"

The artist is "Uchida"

I work for a Japanese company and one of the translators just told me this.

I was warned by the translator that the translation is not literal. It is older text. The stamp at the bottom is the family/name.

The "Autumn Harvest" was the translator's attempt to make this "proper English".

I trust her... She is native Japanese and does well with the stuff I have her translate. Hopefully, it is close enough for your purposes.

Yep, the 3 characters in the center column of the octagonal seal read, "Uchida", a common Japanese surname. The side characters say, "Original Edition", which may add to the value.

The upper characters literally read "Autumn Abundance", but in English it probably is better to translate as Autumn Harvest ("abundant harvest" is a common Japanese expression).

That is super cool. How are you going to display and protect it?

Jim
