If you don't have any of your own, maybe you can rent a couple of 6-year-olds. They usually work for ice cream. That's how my grandkids get paid when they clean up sticks in my yard.

A brass catcher on your push mower ?

Architect, this is for brass already on the ground. Also wolfe 21, it needs “less space” between tines, or more tines per inch. My rake tines are too far apart so 9mm and small pistol brass can skip through on a given pass. This requires multiple passes to gather the the brass. It also dethatches dead grass and I wind up picking a mass of brass and grass. I’m thinking small diameter metal tines or narrow plastic ones, narrowly spaced, will stop the brass from slipping through, but not collect as much thatch. Lastly, I think the rake should have a straight edge not a curved one. Otherwise you need to force the rake down to get any meaningful width of tines contacting the ground thus digging in hard and scraping up more thatch.
One last option would be to trip over $800 and buy the Ammo-Up machine. Something tells me wishing isn’t going to make one appear on my doorstep. (House address available upon request!)

Battery powered air blower to gather them all up then scoop them?

If a couple get left behind it shouldn't matter.

Kids in probation that needed community service hours. It actually worked out ok.

How about a shop vac? Make a sifter with a large gauge screen (1/4” squares) to clear out the unwanted debris when you dump the bucket.

ASC will only credit 2hrs for the year for picking up brass, I would not invest heavily for aids to pick it up.

I was pretty sure it was either 2 or 4 hours. I couldn't remember which. Looks like I’ve got that box checked. Thanks armored.

It's grass,
He said one of his shooting club buddies picked three five gallon buckets full out of the grass, one day.

.308, 6.5, .223 ,and another bucket of other calibers.

For $99, and given the generous return policy of most big-box stores, I'd give it a try.
