I once went out and bought the best paper towels clothes and canned window spray to keep all our equipment and truck windows clean.
I was educated on how to get windows clean and clear by one of our hands a Mexican/American. Use good window spray and newspapers to dry up with. Results are clear and no streaks or haze.
I still use it today although newspapers are getting harder to find.

Nothing wrong with Sprayway Glass Cleaner...There's DEFINITELY zero reason to stop using it, just to switch to Invisible Glass! It's an excellent product, the active ingredient is alcohol, it cleans streak free if you do it right and it's got a pleasant odor. Is it the best, is it better or worse than Invisible Glass, I don't 'really' know, opinions differ depending on who you ask.

This is kinda like the Hoppes No.9 vs. <insert your preferred bore solvent/gun cleaner here> argument. Is one better than the other, maybe, but the Hoppes works for me and I like the smell...Who doesn't Razz

I use Sprayway, I've NEVER been disappointed with it and I've got no reason to change...Just sayin' Wink

My understanding is that regardless of whether you prefer Sprayway Glass Cleaner, or Invisible Glass, get the one in the aerosol can for the best performance.

My wife had one of those wands you are talking about and she liked it but the pads need to be cleaned and/or replaced. I use a spray you can find at Walmart or pretty much any store call "Spray-Way". It is amazing at leaving no streaks and can be used on window tint without issue.

Great thread! I had been thinking about this as this time of year in Ohio when the temps drop moisture fogging makes all those streaks very obvious and especially problematic at night.

I haven’t been able to clean my windshield worth a damn…until I asked my detailed who detailed my Porsche prior to entering into a Concourse…

At first he didn’t want to give away his secret but it’s very simple. He uses 70% Isopropyl alcohol and two microfiber towels. The results are outstanding.
Here's a video from someone else on boob tune explaining the process.

I bought a small hand squeegee at the dollar store and it does a good job of getting into the corners.
