Update 11/7/2019
Our host is having a major scheduling conflict and we will no longer be able to get us on the range. I am taking this as a sign it just wasn't meant to be. Very sorry for all who were planning to come out, but this will have to be canceled. Will try again in the spring perhaps.

I’ll have to check our schedule, but would love to come over from San Diego.
About time for us to check on our rental houses now that summer’s over.
My buddy Steve from the spring class may also want to come.

I am definitely interested as it is only 20 minutes from me. Barring other obligations, that is.

What happened to the OpSpec shoot? Looks like it's still advertised on the website, and cancellation isn't mentioned in the Competition, Training & Regional Shoots section of this forum.

I didn't sign up for it because I don't know my months' schedule until the end of the prior month...but will try to come to the sigforum shoot if possible.

They just sent out an email to all who had signed up and notified them of the cancellation.
Hope you can make it!

Might be able to make an appearance for a couple hours if it starts early enough. I work Saturday afternoons and daylight savings ending will have me starting even earlier.

Will be heading directly to work so won't be able to bring any weapons. Rather tacky to come and shoot up others' ammo. Would be nice but will have to play it by ear.

I believe I'll be able to make it for some time in the afternoon as well. And, I'll be more than happy to chip in.

We are heading that way to Stay the winter in Surprise, AZ. We will be workcamping and do not know my schedule yet but I would love to meet some of the local SF members. So if I am off that day count me in. I should know by Nov 1.
I will contribute.

I had to cancel for the class but I might be able to get down there for some noisy hang-out time.

"The designer of the gun had clearly not been instructed to beat about the bush. 'Make it evil,' he'd been told. 'Make it totally clear that this gun has a right end and a wrong end. Make it totally clear to anyone standing at the wrong end that things are going badly for them. If that means sticking all sort of spikes and prongs and blackened bits all over it then so be it. This is not a gun for hanging over the fireplace or sticking in the umbrella stand, it is a gun for going out and making people miserable with." -Douglas Adams

The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all. -Mencken
