Try it..

Correct, your only options, as far as I'm aware:
Click on the thread title: View first post
Click on page number: View first post on that page
Click last posted user: Go to last post of thread.

I'm not aware of any 'go to first new post' option.

You got me Otto! Smile.

I’ve had my times in the barrel. I now read every comment by para, saves me the psychological uplifts and re-education camps!

Ps.. I’m late to the party and want to say thank you for keeping the classified section!

My thread titles are always black be it on my phone, tablets, or desktop.
But I always click on the thread title.
If there is a thread the I have been reading and I know it will likely have some traction I just keep it open in a tab refresh and pick up where I left off.

After you click on the title, it turns red.

Is this a setting or something that one has to turn on? I have been here for nearly 18 years now.
Used many different computers, devices, browsers and I have never once had the thread title turn red and I click on the thread title all the time.

Not that I'm aware of. The thread titles of threads I have read have always turned red.

Hmmm . . . How do it know? I'm guessing that the information is kept in cookies. Are cookies enabled for SIGforum in your browser(s)?

The first time I read a thread I always click on the thread title. The thread title then turns red so I know that I have read it and if the thread has generated enough interest to show the number of pages I can then click on a page number, which will then turn red. This helps me keep track of where I am it in the thread.

I always click the title. I want to see what the OP has to say before I form any opinions or respond. I guess if you're able to know what the OP was saying without reading it then you're smarter than most. I've seen these go south more so that north.

If you clear your history and cookies, or, have the browser do it when it closes, all threads will reset as if you've never opened them...

I’ll bet Jeremy is using private browsing, or cookies are set to clear too often.

Do you ever have issues getting products in your cart at a website, or going from cart to checkout lose items?

Clearing cookies would make it so you would need to log in again.
