We on the right knew there was nothing from the git-go. The left were grossly inaccurate in their assumption that Putin would prefer a strong-willed personality like Donald Trump versus a corrupt and malleable person like HRC.

I'll digress just a little bit. This disorder is evident in how the left views human relationships and economics, it goes to their embrace of "equality of outcome" and "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need".

there is nothing to be exonerated from...

I could hypothesize that anyone could be suspected of anything - fabricate any story you like, investigate the shit out of it and at the end find out there was never anything to look at

how is that a problem?

Prosecutors don't exonerate suspects. They collect and review evidence and then charge a crime if their is sufficient evidence or decline to charge if there is insufficient evidence. That is their role in the justice system.

This is what the left is always doing. The wordsmithing and mental gymnastics it takes to come up with "exonerated" bears a striking similarity to "it depends upon what the meaning of IS, is".
