This is a long article, but very much worth the time. The title is "Leninthink" and it illuminates the way Lenin taught his communist brutes to think. As you read it, you will see how it applies to the leftists in America, including the Democrat leaders like Pelosi and Schiff as they move to impeach Trump. It applies as well as the useful idiots in the main stream media and academia. There's too much here for me to try to summarise, but I'll give a couple of examples. To Lenin, there was no such thing as "truth," or if there was it did not interest him. He told his followers that the party should always say what is useful for it to say. That is the only standard, and all the implications follow. If you need to contradict yourself, fine. If you need to say something totally unbelievable, fine. Just say what is useful. Check in on Schiff any given day for abundant examples. Or, notice that the Democrat leaders have in the past week been praising the Founders and claiming that they would completely support impeachment. Pelosi has been citing Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, Washington. So has Nadler. Seems like every time a Democrat opens his or her mouth, they praise the Founders. These are the same Founders the Democrat party routinely puts down as "slave holders" responsible for the legacy of racism in America. Next week Pelosi might support student efforts at U of Virginia to remove portraits of Jefferson, the slave holder. She will do so without batting an eye. Whatever is useful. So, sdy, as you say: "Who knew there was such deep oppression against snarky, bisexual, Jewish women? Which country is she talking about?" Karlan is a pampered, indulged, PC parrot. She knows she is not oppressed. But she will say what is useful. The Democrats make shit up. They lie. They contradict themselves. They say things that make no sense. It can be baffling, exasperating, unless you see it in the context of historical communism-- specifically, "Leninthink." Let me cite one passage from the article about "lying." Every day is filled with lies from the Democrats, but keep in mind Schiff's invention of Trump's phone call to the Ukranian president, or their substitution of "Do me a favour..." when Trump actually said, "Do us a favour...." From the article: "Opponents objected that Lenin lied without compunction, and it is easy to find quotations in which he says—as he did to the Bolshevik leader Karl Radek—“Who told you a historian has to establish the truth?” Yes, we are contradicting what we said before, he told Radek, and when it is useful to reverse positions again, we will. Orwell caught this aspect of Leninism: “Oceania was at war with Eastasia; therefore Oceania had always been at war with Eastasia.” And yet the concept of “lying,” if one stops there, does not reach the heart of the matter. In The Death of Ivan Ilyich, Tolstoy remarks that, contrary to appearances, the hero was not a toady. Rather, he “was attracted to people of high station as a fly is drawn to the light.” A toady decides to toady, but Ivan Ilyich had no need to make such a decision. In much the same way, a true Leninist does not decide whether to lie. He automatically says what is most useful, with no reflection necessary. That is why he can show no visible signs of mendacity, perhaps even pass a lie detector test. La Rochefoucauld famously said that “hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue,” but a true Bolshevik is not even a hypocrite. Western scholars who missed this aspect of Leninism made significant errors. For example, they estimated the size of the Soviet economy by assuming that official figures were distorted and made appropriate adjustments. But as Robert Conquest pointed out, “they were not distorted, they were invented.” The Soviets did not find out the truth and then exaggerate; they often did not know the truth themselves. In Nineteen Eighty-Four, Winston Smith hears that fifty million pairs of boots were produced that year and reflects that, for all he knows, no boots at all were produced. Orwell, who never studied the Soviet economy, grasped a point that escaped experts because he understood Leninthink. https://newcriterion.com/issues/2019/10/leninthink ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

Johathan Turley is a Liberal Democrat who is a supreme student of the Constitution and an ardent voice in support of same and the Rule of Law. He continually expresses opinions that are impartial (to Party) and I respect him a lot. The same is true of Allen Dershowitz, who is another Liberal Democrat with a superior understanding of the Constitution and who follows it religiously. Democrats Are Pushing America Into Civil War https://www.americanthinker.co...MxlKa2SSmiXRpx6AWxIE Civil war becomes likelier with every passing day. With the failure of the doddering Mueller’s Democrat-inspired coup attempt, the disaster of Schiff’s impeachment hoax, and Nadler’s Wednesday hearing comprised of angry leftist academics, the country has learned a valuable lesson; the Democrats will never accept Trump as the duly elected president -- no matter how much of a landslide he wins by in 2020. And as Michael Walsh has pointed out. “They never stop, they never sleep, they never quit.” Unbridled hatred will do that. When Trump wins reelection, look for the “smart” party -- “smart” like Fredo (both the mobster and the media moron) -- to redouble their efforts to depose the president. When Barry descended from the heavens to lead America and the Democrats in the transformation of the nation, the left dispensed with all pretense of respect for Americans. Sure, Democrats use “it’s the will of the people” as a catchphrase, but in reality “the people” have been nothing but a disappointment to the left. Graciously, the left had given Americans the opportunity to do as they were told, and they refused, costing the Democrats the House, the Senate, and the Presidency in 2016. There will be no more trying to rally Americans around to their way of thinking. “The people,” going forward, are the enemy. Because of that, the left will be forced to give us the government we “deserve to get… good and hard.” When the enemy stands between those with blinding hatred in their hearts and the power they crave, there is nowhere else for them to go but to war. There is just one problem with their strategy, Americans see what the Democrats have planned for them. Americans understand what is coming. They are coming for those who will not acquiesce to the left’s plans for America. All that remains is how the people will react. Normal Americans have had enough -- they are going to fight. Trump can only do so much with the media and the Democrats in their entirety opposing him -- so far, it’s miraculous how successful he has been against such odds. The left’s tactics have changed, as we’ve seen in the recent actions in Virginia. With the Democrats taking over the state government, the first legislation they have proposed for the next state legislative session is nothing more than gun confiscation. Make no mistake, Virginia is a test. Unable to depose the president, they will proceed on a state-by-state basis to create the nation they long for. And disarming Americans is crucial for the Democrats as a first and necessary step, because an armed populace can say, “No!” Will Virginians willingly give up their guns to the Democrats? Some might. After all, Virginia is proximate to D.C. and many will obey. Yet, many will not. Virginia will be the future, because the Democrats will brook no dissent. They will come heavy and hard and it won’t be long before there is gunfire, and someone is hurt or killed. It will be reminiscent of “the shot heard around the world.” The actions of the left will have awoken Yamamoto's “sleeping giant,” which is the many more than 100 million people who legally own guns. What happens then? Democrats may not realize it, but gun owners in other states will arm up and prepare. The left does not understand Americans. Collectively, liberals are nothing more than one nationwide echo chamber where no one who disagrees with them is allowed a voice. Thus, they believe people will quietly and meekly do as they are told. Yet, what they will get is rage. They blithely proceed under a delusion, unaware that Americans are not going to give up their guns. Americans believe they can never be too armed, too thin, or too rich. They are willing to take a pass on the last two but never the first. Rebellion is not out of the question -- it is probable. And it is obvious the Democrats do not get that. With hundreds of millions of guns in circulation, it will not be pretty. Americans are the most well-armed and trained populace to have ever existed. Every hunter is something of a sniper. Democrats should think about that. What happens when the left comes for people’s guns and citizens start dying by the hundreds, or the thousands? Will assassinations of public officials become prevalent? How about acts of terror such as blowing up bridges and pipelines? What would have happened had the terrorists on 9/11 targeted the George Washington Bridge and the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant instead of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon? The Democrats are opening a can of worms and they simply do not understand the consequences. At Nadler’s hearing on Wednesday, Jonathan Turley talked of “rage.” Democrats don’t understand what “rage” is, but they are about to learn. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Co-equal branches of Government: Executive, Congressional, & Judicial Seems as if the Democrats forget that the Congressional branch consists of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Whatever is useful... This is what guides the left toward impeachment and everything else they do. It's all about seeking and retaining power over us. It's all they do.
These two things are directly related. We have no where to go. We must fight. If we lose freedom here... "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

House Judiciary Committee Report: President Can Be Impeached for ‘Motives’ Without Breaking Law https://www.breitbart.com/poli...ithout-breaking-law/ The House Judiciary Committee released a report Saturday in which it argued that a president may be impeached for “illegitimate motives” even if his actions are “legally permissible.” The 52-page report, written by 20 members of the staff for the Democratic majority, attempts to provide a legal and constitutional basis for the Democrats’ ongoing effort to impeach the president. The report states: “The question is not whether the President’s conduct could have resulted from permissible motives. It is whether the President’s real reasons, the ones in his mind at the time, were legitimate.” That novel theory is only one of several questionable features of the report. 1. The report ignores all of the “expert” legal scholars who testified three days before. The report does not bother to cite any of the testimony from Wednesday’s lengthy hearing, with three witnesses called by Democrats and one called by Republicans. That suggests the report was written well in advance of the hearing. The report does cite published works by one of the witnesses, Micharl Gerhardt, but ignores those of his writings unhelpful to their case. 2. The report uses the same misquote used in the hearing, and by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). The Democrat staff cite President Donald Trump as saying Article II of the Constitution means can do whatever I want as president.” As Breitbart News explained Friday, that is a misquote (backed by deceptively-edited video in the hearing), because Trump was talking specifically about his power to fire the Special Counsel (which he did not). 3. The report invents an absurdly broad standard for “bribery.” The report, backed by selective and misleading claims about the Framers’ intent, declares: “Impeachable bribery occurs when the President offers, solicits, or accepts something of personal value to influence his own official actions.” That standard would implicate every elected official in the United States, all of whom accept campaign contributions in return for policy promises. 4. The report cites radical left-wing activists committed to impeaching Trump. The report cites “scholars” such as Zephyr Teachout, who is on the advisory board of a group called “Impeach Trump Now.” It also cites Harvard’s Lawrence Tribe, who declared in December 2016 that Trump’s impeachment should “begin on Inauguration Day.” It ignores contrary views, even by left-wing sources like Cass Sunstein, whom it quotes selectively (see below). 5. The report invents an absurdly broad “abuse of power” standard. Sunstein wrote in 2017 that “abuse of power” was, by itself, too vague: “Almost every American president has, on more than one occasion, passed the bounds of his power, in the sense that his administration has done something that it is not lawfully entitled to do.” (They cite his book on impeachment, but ignore that point.) Notably, “abuse of power” is not in the Constitution. 6. The report actually defends the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson and cites it as precedent. The Johnson impeachment is almost universally regarded as an error. Yet the report, after conceding that a president “cannot be removed” simply because of “unpopular policies,” argues that Johnson should have been removed for exactly that, because he had “illegitimate motives.” This astonishing claim, citing Tribe, is worth quoting in full: Rather than directly target President Johnson’s faithless execution of the laws, and his illegitimate motives in wielding power, the House resorted to charges based on the Tenure of Office Act. But in reality, “the shaky claims prosecuted by [the House] obscured a far more compelling basis for removal: that Johnson’s virulent use of executive power to sabotage Reconstruction posed a mortal threat to the nation—and to civil and political rights—as reconstituted after the Civil War … [T]he country was in the throes of a second founding. Yet Johnson abused the powers of his office and violated the Constitution to preserve institutions and practices that had nearly killed the Union. He could not be allowed to salt the earth as the Republic made itself anew.” Viewed from that perspective, the case for impeaching President Johnson rested on his use of power with illegitimate motives. 7. The report bends over backwards to justify impeachment without any crime being committed. The report spends a great deal of space arguing that a president does not have to commit an actual crime to be impeached — a claim hotly debated among scholars. It notes that previous impeachments have included charges of “non-criminal” acts, but ignores the fact that no presidential impeachment has ever proceeded without any criminal acts alleged. 8. After saying crimes are not necessary, the report cites the criminal grand jury process. Immediately after arguing that impeachment is not a criminal process (see above), the report cites the criminal grand jury, in which the accused has few legal rights or protections, in an attempt to justify the House’s bizarre impeachment process, in which President Trump — unlike Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton — has been denied basic legal rights. 9. The report claims that Trump has more rights than Nixon and Clinton did. That false claim ignores the fact that unlike his predecessors, Trump has not been allowed legal representation in the key fact-finding stage of the process, which Democrats — for the first time — moved to the secretive Intelligence Committee. Moreover, it ignores that Republicans have been denied the ability to object to witnesses called by the Democrat majority. 10. The report claims that hearsay evidence is sufficient to impeach the president. After noting that the usual rules of evidence do not apply in the House, the report ignores that the only witnesses with direct knowledge of the president’s intentions testified that there was no “quid pro quo” regarding aid to Ukraine. One, Gordon Sondland, said he believed Trump wanted a “quid pro quo” for a White House meeting but had no direct knowledge to show it. 11. The report claims the president is “obstructing” Congress by appealing to the courts. The report claims that Trump can be impeached for denying requests for witnesses and documents, ignoring the fact that the president is raising constitutionally permissible defenses that await adjudication by the courts. Notably, the House itself has decided not to pursue key witnesses, apparently because it wants to rush to impeachment before election season. The report states its conclusions “do not necessarily reflect those of the Committee on the Judiciary or any of its members.” The committee will hold its first evidentiary hearing toward articles of impeachment on Monday. House Judiciary Committee Impeachment Report Ignores ‘Expert’ Witnesses https://www.breitbart.com/poli...es-expert-witnesses/ The House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment report Saturday on the constitutional and legal grounds for impeachment failed to cite any of the testimony from the “expert” witnesses who testified on Wednesday. The report, signed by 20 members of the Democratic majority staff, appears to have been written in advance of that hearing. It was also prepared in advance of any evidentiary hearings in the committee, which are scheduled to begin Monday. The report includes a caveat that its view are those of the staff, not the committee’s elected members. One witness, University of North Carolina Law School professor Michael Gerhardt, is cited in the report, but the references are to his prior publications, not to his testimony in the hearing with two other Democratic witnesses. Because it ignores the witnesses, notably the sole Republican-called witness, George Washington University professor Jonathan Turley (who is not, himself, a Republican), it fails to address the arguments they raised. For example, the report argues that President Donald Trump can be impeached for “obstruction of Congress” for turning to the courts to prevent certain witnesses and documents from being provided to the House investigation. As Turley argued on Wednesday: I can’t emphasize this enough, and I’ll say it just one more time. If you impeach a president, if you make a “high crime and misdemeanor” out of going to the courts, it is an abuse of power. It’s your abuse of power. You’re doing precisely what you’re criticizing the president for doing. We have a third branch that deals with conflicts of the other two branches. And what comes out of there and what you do with it is the very definition of legitimacy. The report fails to address that, and other objections. As Breitbart News has noted, the report includes many legally, historically, and constitutionally dubious assertions, such as the claim that a president can be impeached for “legally permissible” conduct if his motives are “illegitimate.” As precedent, the report cites the impeachment of President Andrew Johnson in 1868, which is widely viewed by historians and legal scholars as a mistake, and an abuse of the majority’s power in the House. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." Democratic congressman says Trump must be impeached to deal with 'original sin' of slavery https://www.washingtonexaminer...ginal-sin-of-slavery Democratic Texas Rep. Al Green claimed that President Trump's impeachment was necessary to deal with the "original" sin of slavery. During a Saturday appearance on MSNBC, the congressman cited an interest in acting on behalf of people of color. "I do believe, ma’am, that we have to deal with the original sin,” Green said to host Alex Witt. “We have to deal with slavery. Slavery was the thing that put all of what President Trump has done lately into motion. It’s [the] insidious scion of racism. The president has played on racism, and he’s used that as a weapon to galvanize a base of support to mobilize people." Green, 73, who has been advocating to impeach the president since taking office in 2017, said in May that he was concerned that failure to impeach could lead to a Trump victory in 2020. "I'm concerned that if we don't impeach this president, he will get reelected," Green said in an interview at the time. The Texas Democrat forced a vote on the impeachment of Trump in the House three times for various reasons but has stated that he doesn't feel the president should be impeached "needlessly." He also stated that the president could be impeached multiple times if need be. "The Constitution allows a president to be impeached more than once,” Green said amid doubt that the Senate would vote to remove the president. “If we impeach now, or at some time in the near future, for one issue that we dearly should, then we find later that the president has other issues that merit impeachment, we can impeach again. There is no limit on the number of times." _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it."
