People are funny. They hate Trump for petty this that and the other. Serves fast food to college students, eats KFC with a fork.

They forget he does not have to put up with this shit, Takes no pay for taking a full days shit. And gives THEM back their shit using guerilla warfare aka Twitter.

Thank you Mister President for being the thick skinned warrior you are. I hope for a 2020 win and then, when you are done with that, all the peace and good fortune you can handle. Unlike most, you earned it.

I don't know, either. I have often hypothesized that perhaps he remembers what happened with Reagan. While he was president, the Demonrats & the media vilified him to no end. But, after his presidency was over, everybody quickly realized what an excellent job he had done.

And, so it has been down through history. The media was merciless with Washington and Lincoln while they were leading the country. It wasn't until retrospect allowed folks to fully recognize what great leaders they were.

So, perhaps Trump realizes that in retrospect, Americans will finally realize what a great leader he is/was.

It seems to be human nature to fail to recognize the greatness of truly great men during their time on earth. At the time, they screamed, "Crucify Him!" But, after the fact, everyone realized His greatness.

You may be right, but I suspect it is closer to the truth that President Trump just doesn’t give a flying f*** what people think or what trash the media spews. I suspect that he has been as successful as he has been in life because he is able to focus on the goal and continue moving toward that goal without thinking or caring what other people think about him or what he is doing. While he may have a rough edge or two, I think we are incredibly blessed to have him in the fight, doing his best for our country.

Given that he's put forward several offers (that have been rejected by Pelosi before he even released them), I don't quite understand why he doesn't just direct the Army Corps of Engineers to start breaking ground.

Just fucking do it.

I just hope he can hold out. The schitstorm he faces every day would defeat anyone else. And, while I admire his high energy level, it can't last forever. Trump and my dad are the same age and my dad is still in the same track star shape he was in when he graduated high school. But he sure is a lot slower and less willing to deal with BS now than when I was a teenager. And my dad retired 10 years ago. Trump has six more years to go with another campaign and who knows how many ridiculous legal battles in between.

Yes! ...and "Build the wall, Mr. President."

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

And this is the first time in anything anyone can call recent history that the left is being stood up to. And they are not used to it. Their tactics are wearing thin. They know it. Each time Ch'ancy (chuck/nancy) try to politically wrangle their base, Trump bitch slaps both of them.

And this is their reaction:

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

I agree and I have tried to make this point before. There is already a wall(fence, barrier, etc) along portions of the border now. Upgrading and extending that wall shouldn't require an act of Congress. Money should already exist in the budget for sec purposes.
