One of many blunders.

“Prince Harry today admitted defeat in a libel case he brought against the Mail on Sunday – on the day he was due to hand over documents.

The Duke of Sussex abandoned his case just hours before a deadline for his lawyers to pass over a list of relevant documents.
……
Instead, Harry threw in the towel, with his lawyers informing the High Court at 10am he was 'discontinuing' his case.

He will now face having to pay the newspaper's costs of £250,000 along with his own lawyers' fees – meaning a total legal bill of more than £750,000. …”

From the cited article:
quote:
At the time, it was one of six legal cases the Duke of Sussex was pursuing in the High Court against newspapers and the Home Office.

Since then, he has won a case against Mirror Group Newspapers, and he is still pursuing other ongoing cases against the publishers of The Sun and the Mail titles.
Does he hope to salvage his abysmal public image this way? Because somehow I don't think that's going to do it.

The symbol formerly known as a Prince?
I thought he renounced his standing as a royal?

Big Grin

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I'm still convinced Meghan is an American CIA asset sent in to take down the British crown once and for all as payback for the burning of Washington during the War of 1812. She's doing a fantastic job.

How long before he tries to unrenounce his royal status? This twit is incapable of making it alone. Is it difficult to operate a fry vat or the drive through window?

He should fire his barrister or, just look in the mirror and punch himself in the face for ignoring their advice.

He’s a multimillionaire who’s made more in the last 5 years than most of us combined.

Since coming to America

Netflix $100 million
Spotify $20 million
Oprah $7 million

That’s just the ones I know about. Who knows what other income he has.

I don’t think he needs to worry about flipping burgers anytime soon.

Yeah but yeah but.

The fact the first two letters of her name are "ME" should have been a clue.

A suggested rehabilitation plan:
1. Read the parable "The Prodigal Son"
2. Renounce Meghan
3. Abandon America
4. Travel to London on the Queen Mary 2 with a one-way ticket
5. Visit the British Military and request a re-instatement
6. Work hard to be the best military man you can be for about ten years
7. While working, keep silent, make no interviews, no appearances, etc.
8. Send letters to the King periodically, sharing your abject humility and sorrow for being unbelievably stupid.
9. Find a suitable charitable organization and serve there.
10. Be yourself, and be a royal in manner, deportment, and duty (even if you "renounced" the family)
11. Call your brother the future king to express sorrow for being stupid
12. Be a stand-up straight shooter regardless of what happens

Wasn’t he basically forced out of the military to take up duties as a Royal?

I do remember part of an interview where he said being in the military was the best, most fulfilling time of his life. He was “just one of the boys. Not Prince of…just Harry or Lt. Wales”

Harry may be a disaster today, but by all accounts he was a top notch soldier with a genuine love of military service and purpose.

Because somebody else was telling him what to do, when to do it and how.
The further away from his time in uniform and service it gets, the more it becomes apart that he's incapable of making a sound decision on his own and needs others to guide him along. Enter Meghan....
