US Embassy Alerts All Americans To Depart Afghanistan "Immediately" As More Provincial Capitals Fall
[QUOTE]Originally posted by sdy: I am no student of Afhan history, but it seems there are many local tribes that act somewhat independently and form alliances / change alliances in response to perceived immediate advantages, insults, or disadvantages.
There may be a number of those tribes that will resist the Taliban. Such resistance will be made difficult by all the U.S. supplied weapons and material that the Taliban has now acquired.

The main problem is night vision equipment, IMO. The other tribes will have a most difficult time battling in the dark. The Taliban must have thousands of NV equipment.
Also air power, the other tribes will need Stinger or other equipment.

Honestly I don't care as long as they burn through US provided munitions in the process.

Let them know where the arms caches and other supplies are, and support them in their efforts to get them. The Taliban is stretched thin, with many of their units are inside Kabul, they have various units spread-out all over the country, attempting to wrap their heads around the fact there wasn't much fighting, now they have to 'govern'. There's a whole generation of Afghanis who haven't a clue other than stories of what the Taliban were like or, scant memories..they aren't going to like what kind of future they have, they'd best rise-up and take their country back.
Everything except "support them in their efforts to get them". Translated tp mean, do it for them, and encourage more guaranteed failure to launch.

Not that this should surprise anyone, but the media whores seem to be figuring out it's time to circle the wagons around their propped up fraudulent (p)resident.
Was at the gym and CNN was on (funny that that Cuomo guy just happens to crawl back out of the woodwork today for this story...) and Cuomo was interviewing some D representative--surprise--who was blaming Trump. The chryon read something like "Trump's Role in Pull Out Under Scrutiny".

Trump continues to live rent-free in their heads 24/7/365 and it’s amazing to see. I’ve been gone from Facebook since January now (thank God) and don’t miss it one iota but I was curious to see how my one cousin’s husband was handling this Biden Afghanistan debacle (he’s a hardcore liberal Democrat type) so I went to his FB page to take a look: in the past 10 days, NOT A PEEP about Biden or Afghanistan but numerous posts per day about evil Trump insurrectionists, Trump, Trump supporters, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
They can’t quit him!

I'm perfectly fine sneaking in a handful of close air support specialists (JTAC) and dropping JDAMs on convoys, gatherings and storage areas.
Apparently there has been a push on talk radio for listeners to call the White House and hammer them on letting our troops go outside the wire to escort our people back to the airport.
One radio show caller said she called the White House today (Monday) during normal business hours and received an automated message saying the White House was closed and that if you wished to leave a message do so on the White House website.

The Taliban issued their 'Red Line' ultimatum today. They hold the power in the Biden Sh*t show in AF.
The next 7 days will probably get worse day-by-day, until August 31st assuming that date holds.
Go past that date and I assume an RPG into the side of a Transport from the Taliban will occur. If that happens, that airport will shut down and no one is going anywhere for a few days or weeks.

The thing about those Trump statements is not only are they absolutely true, but Donald Trump actually wrote them himself. Anything put out as being by Joe Biden is written by one of his handlers or his speech writers, and then Joe drools on it as a show of approval.

Now that there are “red lines”, Sleepy Joe knows everything is going to be Ok. Obama issued those and with the went, Ol’ Joe knows he’s got time because they can be ignored.

Except the taliban will hold their red line. What’s the cash price to extend the deadline after 8/31? A billion per week in crisp new shrink wrapped Benjamins ?
This whole CF of Checking out of Bagram in the middle of the night like people who owed months of back rent and were being evicted by the sheriff in the AM. This is what grinds me the most. So now this whole country is dependent on this airport with one airstrip ? What happens when a goat molester with a newly acquired stinger decides to pop a transport plane and shut the whole thing down for a few days. Ugh. And I just can’t believe I mean I can but just can’t deal with the strait up lies by the administration uttered from Joe on down. How bad is it when the NYtimes ABC news et al are calling out their bullshit.

I saw a little cartoon yesterday depicting two taliban 'warriors' waving their guns in the air - usual victory thing - one is shouting 'we have succeeded in putting the clock back twenty years!!!'
The other one say, 'no my friend, MUCH more than that'.

What is Potato Joe gonna do when the taliban starts sawing off the heads of American Citizens in AFG?
It’s coming.
