Thanks to all who have taken in the strays that just appeared or by us going to the pound to do the rescue. Have heard that there is a special place for those who did the deed and hope it is true because I need all the help I can get. ..................... drill sgt.

What a cutie! I doubt she will be leaving.

I currently have 5 indoor cats who were born in my back yard; at one time there were 7, but the 2 oldest males have died (4 of the 7 were siblings, 3 of those were littermates). I also presently have one regular outdoor cat I feed (not related).

I do like dogs, but am not set up to care for them properly--cats are more self-sufficient.

Thank you for taking in that little sweetie!

I picked her up and put her on my side and said "come on". She followed me to the garage, I made up a bed with water and food... Meet #9 this will be our 9th dog unless there is a really good home here in SC that will meet me to take her.

I found the brother

Snuggled together

I went for a long walk down way back over 1/2 mile through the woods and heard the white one (boy) crying and barking. I jumped a creek to go get him coming back my jump wasn’t quite long enough and I sunk in the mud but my Danners kept me dry.
Puppies at their safe home now bathed and warming up with food in their bellies.

Nframe, I don't know how to thank you enough, but I'm sure over the years the two pups will find a way.

People that dump dogs ..... well, I shouldn't say what I'm thinking.

Our current dog was dumped, she's got issues of trust, but she's coming around.

She was used for breeding then tossed out like trash.

Those two little cuties will give you a lifetime of love, they know they were saved.

Yes I'm right there with you. 9 of our 11 dogs (yes 11 including these two) were dumped or abandoned.

I'm greatful that where I live I'm able to rescue them the difficult part is adopting them out. They just seem to stay.

I had an uncle (d. 2004) like that, always getting "found" by some dog or cat.
