That is not him in blackface in the yearbook. But he did wear blackface in a dance contest. But only a little bit because, you know, that shit is hard to get off.

This is amazing.
This man openly advocated for murdering babies. Now we find out he's a racist Now he has removed all doubt that he is a liar. Perhaps the most appalling thing he has done is show his utter contempt for the intelligence of the citizens of Virginia by thinking that anyone with half a brain would believe him.

Nah, he knows that no one believes this nonsense. It's just a matter of trying to come up with something, anything, that the media can run with to give him cover. It doesn't have to be believable, it just has to have the slimmest possibility of being possible and the media will give him cover - there are reporters now trying desperately to spin this for him, but this story is just too ridiculous even for the majority of the true believers in the media.

I wonder if once word broke this morning that he was going to fight this, someone from his past threatened to come forward with either pictures or just the story of how he dressed in blackface to enter a dance contest and that forced him to come up with this ridiculous statement as a desperate last gasp attempt to cling to his job.
