My daughter wants one for Christmas and I have no clue which ones are good cameras, if anyone has one and can recommend which one to get I would greatly appreciate it.

I have daughters, 26 and 22 years old, who wanted and received Fujifilm Instax mini 9 cameras from us for Christmas presents in the last couple of years.

There are new Instax models, but I wouldn't doubt they take similar quality images due to the instant film. The new Instax Square looks like a big winner for you.

Skip the Polatoid/Instax camera. It was fun at first, but I think a Instax printer would be better--she can instantly "print" on to Instax film from her phone.

Another option is to get a mini/portable photo printer that let's her print out all sorts of photos from her phone, not just on to instant film. I'm using an older Cannon Selphy that is pretty fun.
