We have 5 Mitsubishis and they work well.... the one issue we have is with the two in our 'West Wing'... on regular cool they don't remove that much moisture out of the air... After consulting with an engineer the solution was to keep the fan speed on very low which will make the units work harder.... seems the one draw back is they are too efficient at cooling a small space. the other slight issue is servicing the dern things once a year... specifically the inside units. I do this and ended up having to write a manual on how to do this and all the tools I need. If you have a work shop then you are probably okay with cleaning the blower and coils yourself... but there is a learning curve. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

We had a Bryant unit installed about two years ago. HVAC company installed it and it took three guys about six hour. I initially thought about a DIY Mr. Cool but after seeing how long it took to install this one im glad I didnt try myself. I have no complaints and have no issues with the unit. It was $3k installed and worth the money to make out master bedroom comfortable in the summer. We looked at Mitsubishi but could not justify the cost. The Bryant unit had a comparable warranty.
