It's odd how we can get mad a company for wanting to make a profit and going about it all wrong and screwing over the customer.

Then in a few months or years we forget all about that bump in the road and forgive them ... Kimber, Ruger, Colt and S&W come to mind

They were preferred by a vast number of users for a couple reasons I can think of right off ... cheap, easy to use, reliable (until they started getting so big)

Surely you jest. Did you see the TV interviews with Photobucket's jackass CEO last summer. That smug POS didn't give the impression they had done a lick of analysis in coming up with the $400/yr pricing, how many customers they'd lose, etc. and didn't give a shit that they did it all with zero warning. They had become so unstable/unreliable that I had already moved sites so I would' not have paid if it were something like $1/month or $9.95 per year. Sure as hell wasn't paying 4 big ones.

Besides, fuck 'em since they ruined the Cat Thread.
